Easy League of Legends Support Champion Recommendations for Beginners (as of March 2021)
This video recommends four easy-to-play League of Legends support champions for beginners as of March 2021: Lulu, Nami, Pantheon, and Vel'Koz, and explains each champion's skills and how to play them.
1. Lulu: Easy Utility Support Champion
Lulu is currently a Tier 1 support champion, and her simple skill composition and great utility make her suitable for beginners.
In lane, you can fight alongside your ADC, shielding them or polymorphing enemies.
In teamfights, protect your ADC by providing shields and movement/attack speed buffs to allies, and polymorph enemies to disrupt them.
The key thing to remember is to use E (Shield) on allies and W (Polymorph) on enemies.

2. Nami: Another Utility Support Champion
Nami, like Lulu, is also a top-tier utility support champion.
Her Q requires skillshots but stuns enemies on hit, and her W heals allies and damages enemies.
Her E buffs the ADC, increasing their auto-attack damage, and her ultimate provides an airborne effect.
In lane, land Q, then E your ADC and heal with W. In teamfights, buff and heal your ADC, and protect them with Q if enemies dive them.

3. Pantheon: Dive-in Support Champion
Pantheon is a recommended champion for beginners who prefer dive-in supports.
W allows you to reliably approach and stun enemies, and E lets you block damage while escaping.
Q does a thrust attack when tapped and a spear throw when held.
His ultimate is useful for joining fights, and in lane, use the W-Q-E combo to trade damage.
In teamfights, it's important to use W to stop enemies from diving your ADC.

4. Vel'Koz: Poke Support Champion
Vel'Koz is recommended for players who prefer poke supports and is considered easier than Xerath.
Q damages enemies or can be split into two projectiles by casting the skill again.
W deals area-of-effect damage, and E provides an airborne effect.
His ultimate deals continuous damage.
In lane, poke with Q from a distance. In teamfights, deal AoE damage and protect your ADC with E.
He's vulnerable to being caught out if you misposition, but he can be fun to play once you get the hang of it.
