Zenless Zone Zero Trigger Test Server Review: Skills, Disks, W-Engine, and Team Comp Evaluation
Provides a test server review of the new Zenless Zone Zero character Trigger's skills, disks, W engine, breakthrough, gameplay, and team compositions. Trigger's operation difficulty is not high, and understanding core skills and additional abilities is important. Crit Rate setup is key, and presents the possibility of utilization in various combinations.
1. Trigger Intro and Core Skills
Introduction to Trigger Modeling and Character Settings
Core Skill: Increases Groggy Weakness debuff to enemies (applies to both Groggy/Non-Groggy states)
Additional Ability: Activates when an Electric-type character is present in the party; increases Groggy gauge when Crit Rate exceeds 40% (up to 75%)
Securing maximum Crit Rate is important when setting up

01:28 - 03:49
2. Skill Operation
Utilize Aftershock Attacks (enter Sniper Stance after holding Normal Attack)
Acquire 'Resolve' points, and when the gauge is full, cast 'Finishing Strike'
Resolve points are consumed during Aftershock Attacks
Aftershock Attacks are possible without consuming Resolve points when entering Co-op state (use Descent Special Skill, Ultimate Skill for quick support)
Hold Normal Attack -> Max Resolve Points -> Quick Support Switch
Use skills when you have Energy/Decibels in non-Groggy situations, then enter Co-op state
03:50 - 04:04
3. Skill Leveling Order
Prioritize leveling core skills
Focus on leveling Normal Attack, Sosuke, and Ultimate Skill
Level Evasion and Support as you have resources
04:05 - 05:58
4. Disk Setup
Shock Star 4-set or Shadow Origin 4-set (not a big difference)
Shock 4-set: Use Woodpecker
Shadow-like 4-set: Use Shock 2-set
Secure as much Crit Rate/Damage as possible
Crit Rate threshold decreases when using Shadow-like set
Number 4: Crit Damage is also possible if Crit Rate option is good
Number 5: Electric DMG, ATK, Penetration (choose according to combination/situation, avoid Penetration if Trigger doesn't have signature weapon)
Number 6: Fixed Impact
Sub-options: Crit Rate > Crit Damage > ATK %
05:59 - 07:05
5. W Engine
Trigger-exclusive engine (Main option: Crit Rate)
Has DEF reduction debuff
'Restrained One' option is effective (Aftershock Attack is based on Normal Attack)
A-grade engines: Fossil Core, Steam Open Cutter Knife can be used
Strong Attack Crit Rate engine is not recommended
07:06 - 08:29
6. Breakthrough
Increases Groggy Weakness multiplier, increases Resolve Initiation maximum
Increases DPS and convenience
1st Breakthrough: Adds Crit Damage buff
2nd Breakthrough: Additional Aftershock Attack damage/Impact
4th Breakthrough: Consumes Paga stacks for significant damage
5th Breakthrough: Additional damage
1st Breakthrough is very efficient (17% increase compared to no breakthrough), full breakthrough increases 48% compared to no breakthrough
08:30 - 12:13
7. Gameplay Video
Trigger Gameplay Video
12:15 - 15:37
8. Team Comp Evaluation
0 MB Trigger Astra: Highest score (50,000+ points on Corrupted), smooth team operation
0 MB Trigger Fulgora: Average, fast Groggy speed
0 MB Trigger Nicole: Consider if Astra is not available, decent score, smooth operation
0 MB Trigger Kaiser: Recommended if Kaiser is available, convenient MB control, no operational inconvenience
0 MB Trigger Qingyi: Uncomfortable controls, too fast to break, MB Decibel/Energy shortage, low score
Juyeon Trigger (JuTrA): JuTrA is overwhelmingly good, Juyeon is a viable Groggy dealer
Ellen Trigger Lycaon: Decent, no operational discomfort
Birodo Trigger Evelyn: Evelyn is better
15:38 - 16:29
9. Closing and Future Plans
Trigger is a unique breaking character with a different mechanism
Good debuff abilities allow for various combinations
Planning to prepare additional Trigger-related videos in the future
