Devsisters Co., Ltd. (CEO Jongil Cho)'s development studio Oven Games' co-op action game 'Cookie Run: Tower of Adventures' has officially launched in the Japanese market.

Cookie Run: Tower of Adventures (Japanese service name 'クッキーラン: 冒険の塔') was released at 12 PM today through the local major app markets, Apple App Store and Google Play. Prior to this, in order to establish an optimal game service strategy in the Japanese market, which demands a high level of localization, a publishing contract was signed with Yostar, a famous overseas game company, for the Japanese region.

The Japanese version, which began service today, features adventure content 'Story Mode' where you break through Pancake Tower, co-op content 'Raid Mode' where 4 players form a team to defeat bosses, single-player content 'Glass Labyrinth' where you combine various cookies to challenge records, and 'Growth Dungeon' where you can farm resources for cookie growth.

At the same time, the first Japanese original character 'Strawberry Mochi Cookie' and a new Japanese-style story event tailored to local users have been added. In particular, Strawberry Mochi Cookie emphasizes a Japanese anime-style visual and evokes popular Japanese desserts, leading to an explosive local response as soon as it was revealed.

Meanwhile, Cookie Run: Tower of Adventures is focusing on promotional activities that focus on cute cookies and their stories, in line with Japan's cultural characteristics, where there is high interest in characters. Various activities are being carried out through channels such as Cookie Run: Tower of Adventures' official X, TikTok, YouTube, and Discord, as well as the mobile game live streaming app 'Mirrativ' and promotional campaigns with famous VTubers.

Previously, on the 26th of last month, famous Japanese voice actors who voiced the cookies in the game communicated with local users through a live broadcast to commemorate the release.
