Project Moon's "Lobotomy Corporation" generated ₩58.3 billion in sales in 2024

The audit report, which allows us to examine the company's situation of Project Moon (CEO Kim Ji-hoon), the developer of 'Lobotomy Corporation' and 'Limbus Company', was released for the first time this year.

Project Moon, established in November 2016, disclosed its 9th fiscal year financial statements based on accounting standards last year. According to the audit report, sales in 2024 increased by 66.3% to 58.3 billion won compared to 35 billion won in the previous year. During the same period, operating profit grew by 85.34% to 27.8 billion won. Project Moon's operating profit margin last year was 47.9%, up 4.9%P from 43% in the previous year.

These figures suggest that efficient cost management was achieved along with increased sales.

Cash flow was also read positively. Cash flow from operating activities increased by 40.9% compared to the previous year, and cash outflow from investing activities decreased by 72.52%. In particular, the ending cash balance increased by 154.65% to 31.243 billion won from 12.269 billion won in the previous year, indicating that stable cash liquidity has been secured.

A notable point compared to other game companies is that Project Moon has 580 million won in food sales. This is presumed to be the sales of the theme cafe 'HamHamPangPang'. 'HamHamPangPang' is a space that decorates the interior and sells food based on the game's worldview and characters. 'Product sales', which appear to be sales of game-related products, increased by 53.1% to 1.8 billion won compared to the previous year.

The commission expenses paid by Project Moon last year amounted to 17.3 billion won, accounting for 29.81% of sales. This is a figure close to the commonly known Steam's revenue distribution rate and mobile app market commission rate (7:3).

As of the end of last year, the number of employees at Project Moon was 58. The main shareholder is CEO Kim Ji-hoon, who owns 76.5% of the shares, and Lee Yu-mi, a founding member, holds 4.5%. Investment company Dev-KDBC Culture Investment Association holds 10% of the shares, and treasury shares account for 9%.
