1. Trigger's Features and Performance
Trigger is a character that can achieve high efficiency with easy controls.
It provides an additional debuff multiplier regardless of whether the enemy is in a groggy state, and produces an effect similar to the final damage boost even in a non-groggy state.
It excels at accumulating groggy by reacting to ally attacks, providing a different option from existing off-field break characters.
It's a fun character that lets you feel the dopamine rush through rapid groggy accumulation.
2. Trigger Setting Guide
We recommend a combination of the Shadow 4-piece set and the Shock Star 2-piece set.
For main options, we recommend Crit DMG, DMG Boost, and Impact. For slot 5, choose one with good Crit Rate.
Even without her signature weapon, you can theoretically meet the required Crit Rate with the Shock Star 2-piece set, but it's better to prioritize the DPS's Crit Rate.
For engines, we recommend Signature Weapon, Restrained, and Steam Oven in that order. Steam Oven was better than a full-set Hellfire Gear.
3. Main On-Field Play (Trigger Utilization)
Trigger compensates for the Main Character's weaknesses and presents new possibilities.
The Main Character is more inconvenient than Astra or Da Caesar on the field due to their straightforward hitboxes, but can achieve higher scores when used with Trigger.
Play by consuming 6 Enhanced Scattershots and then filling them with the Strong Attack combo skill, and then the on-field Main Character becomes active again after groggy.
Trigger has excellent groggy performance, effectively adding another on-field break character.
Taking advantage of the fact that Decibel charges faster the higher the field presence after the Decibel patch, you can use the Main Character's ultimate every groggy turn.
4. Trigger Usage Tips and Combinations with Other Characters
Trigger has the disadvantage of having long special skill animations, but this can be overcome by getting used to quick swaps.
In addition to the Main Character, other characters such as Sylvie, Lighterless Evelyn, and Yanagi also have good synergy with Trigger.
You can maximize groggy accumulation through Trigger's additional attacks by utilizing the combo skill delay technique.
It can be applied by holding down Taki to prevent the strong attack's combo skill from being activated.
