1. Trigger Character Introduction and Acquisition Value
Trigger is an Electric-type Breaker character with an attractive appearance.
It is recommended to acquire him if possible, as he can be combined with most Charged Attack characters and is active in Electric-type parties.
He shortens on-field time through an off-field Break mechanism and performs a supporting role that increases damage to enemies who are not in a Groggy state.
Equipping his signature weapon adds a defense reduction effect, further increasing the party's overall damage.
2. Trigger Character Detailed Analysis
As an Electric-type Break position, he can deal continuous damage from off-field even when not on the field.
Compared to existing Break characters, he takes a shorter on-field time, allowing the main dealer to be active for a longer time.
It is best to use him with Anby, but he shows good performance even when used with other characters.
Through support fire, he can increase the enemy's Weakness multiplier by triggering Aftershock attacks.
His disadvantages are that he is highly dependent on his signature weapon and requires high Crit stats, but his damage is weak. (Can be solved by multiple breakthroughs)
3. Core Skill Analysis and Priority
The core mechanism is concentrated in the Normal Attack. (Silent Snipe: Hold to enter Snipe stance, charge Resolve Gauge)
You can evade and move with the directional keys while sniping, and you can quickly provide support by releasing your hand to trigger Termination.
Snipe Concerto and Snipe Concerto Hell are core off-field skills and apply Aftershock attack judgment.
The Enhanced Special Skill deals damage and triggers quick support, and the Ultimate triggers 6 additional support fire attacks.
The core passive is to increase the Weakness multiplier regardless of Groggy when an Aftershock attack hits.
The skill priority is Normal Attack > Special Skill > Ultimate > Support > Evade.
4. Controls
After entering the battlefield, fill the Resolve Gauge in Snipe stance and retreat.
Repeat the process of briefly coming out to use Enhanced Special Skills or Ultimates when available, then retreating again.
Be careful as only 10 support attacks can be triggered for 16 seconds when spamming Enhanced Specials.
Since he is a Break character, it is best to use Strong Attacks or Ultimates when not in a Groggy state to quickly fill the Groggy gauge.
5. Weapon Build
We recommend the signature weapon, Taimon's Eye: Shading. (Increases Crit Rate, reduces Defense and increases Impact when using Aftershock attacks)
Using the signature weapon makes the build easier and can increase the party's overall damage.
As an alternative weapon, we recommend Recount's signature engine, Constrained. Among the four-star engines, Steam Oven is good.
6. Disk Build
The 4-piece Shadow Together + 2-piece Shockstar set is decent. (Shadow Together is an Aftershock attack-only set, Shockstar increases Impact)
It is good to set up to 90% Crit, and since 12% is added during battle, you only need to set up to 78%.
We recommend Crit Rate for the 4th option, Electric DMG for the 5th option, and Impact for the 6th option.
Set the sub-options mainly to Crit, Crit DMG, and ATK.
7. Breakthrough Effects
At 1st breakthrough, the Groggy Weakness multiplier due to the core passive changes from 35% to 55%. (Efficiency and core breakthrough)
At 2nd breakthrough, gain Hunter's Eye stack when using Aftershock attacks, increasing the Crit DMG of party members.
At 4th breakthrough, accumulate additional Impact and Groggy value when using support fire after entering Co-op state.
At 6th breakthrough, gain Armor-Piercing stack upon entering the battlefield and consuming Resolve, adding Electric DMG when attacking in Snipe stance. (Full breakthrough effect)
8. Final Summary and Party Compositions
Trigger is a Break character who can deal continuous damage from off-field, allowing the main dealer to spend more time on the field by shortening the on-field time.
He is a versatile character that increases party damage by triggering Aftershock attacks through support fire.
The Anby, Trigger, and Astra combination seems to be the highest potential party composition. (Anby boosts Aftershock attacks, Astra is the best support)
He also has good synergy with Eblin, who can deal continuous damage.
For Charged Attack party compositions, you can use another Charged Attack character in Anby's place and another supporting character in Astra's place.
Parties that include Electric-type characters also show decent performance. (Yanagi, Trigger, Mia, etc.)
We recommend the signature weapon build, and the 1st breakthrough is efficient afterwards.
