In MapleStory, Mesos are essential for item setups and boss strategies. Here's how to earn 100 billion Mesos using only in-game content without spending a dime.

You can earn 6.5 billion Mesos weekly by doing Normal Baldr, Gunny, and Hard Hilla boss runs. Including Black Mage profits, you can earn 27.5 billion Mesos weekly. With free items, you can earn over 30 billion Mesos per month.

You can achieve 140% with approximately 5 billion Mesos by purchasing Drop/Meso Acquisition Rate Kafra Earrings and a single line Drop Rate Michael's New Glasses. If you don't have enough coins to get an event ring, you'll need to buy it from the Auction House. The minimum cost is 5 billion Mesos for 4 event rings, and 11 billion Mesos if you don't buy event rings.

In the past, it was important to aim for 67% drop rate and 100% Meso acquisition rate, but the efficiency of drop and Meso acquisition rate has become similar since the release of Sol Erda fragments. It's beneficial to adjust the ratio according to your preference. Mesos are guaranteed to drop from monsters starting from 67% drop rate.

If you've established a minimum foundation, it's best to prioritize Drop/Meso acquisition rate items. Earning Mesos is important, but using them efficiently is also crucial. Avoid direct crafting as much as possible.

There are ways to earn Mesos through trading, transferring, and hoarding, but newbies are likely to lose money if they follow them. Most YouTube trading videos are exaggerated advertisements, and buying trading methods is inefficient.
