'Ragnarok Online' Holds Media Conference in Brazil Ahead of Latin America Launch

Gravity announced that it held a media conference in Brazil on the 8th (local time) ahead of the launch of its PC MMORPG 'Ragnarok Online América Latina' in Latin America.
Gravity has announced its direct service of Ragnarok Online in Latin America this year. The launch date for Ragnarok Online América Latina in Latin America is May 28, 2025, and the launch version will open the main story and quests up to Episode 14.2 and a total of 15 third job classes. Pre-registration has been underway since March 17 until the official launch.
This media conference was held at the Eureka Building in São Paulo, Brazil on April 8, local time. About 100 people attended the event, including many game media outlets and influencers, and attendees were also given a gift consisting of a commemorative T-shirt, Poring doll, and pin button.
The event lasted for about 2 hours from 5:30 PM, starting with a welcome address, followed by an introduction to Gravity, local operation plans, an overall service roadmap for Latin America, and a Q&A session. At the event, thorough service plans were announced, including BGM that captures the characteristics of Latin America, multilingual support, customized content, and the opening of the GNJOY LATAM platform.
In addition, the launch date of Ragnarok Online América Latina was announced, along with the OBT schedule and IP collaboration news. In addition, the 'RAGNAROK THE ORCHESTRA CONCERT' at Sala Sao Paule in June and the '2025 LATAM ROS PRACTICE EVENT' were also announced.
Gravity's COO Yoshinori Kitamura said at the conference, “It is very meaningful to be able to deliver good news to local users who have been waiting for the Latin American version of Ragnarok Online for a long time. I think that today will be a monumental event marking the beginning in Latin America.” He added, “Starting with the launch of Ragnarok Online América Latina, we are planning various events such as orchestra concerts and e-sports competitions for users in Latin America, so please look forward to it.”
