Greeting everyone with a WoW video after a long time! I'll be quickly covering the changes and key guide for Elemental Shaman in Season 2 of The War Within.

The set bonus has a chance to trigger a windfall effect upon casting spells/abilities, summoning an elemental for 6 seconds. Using Ascendance always triggers the windfall effect. Recommended set pieces are head, shoulders, chest, and hands. Legs are recommended to be other tier items (legs can be converted to set pieces if set bonus is prioritized). In the early season, some players use a 2/2 combination of Season 1 and Season 2 set items, but it is recommended to prioritize farming the current season's set items.

Class talents can be changed according to preference, specialization talents are fixed. Before pulling the boss, use Stormkeeper, Storm Elemental, Lightning, Bestowments of the Sea, and Grace of the Ancestors. After the basic Flame Shock, Lava Burst, Flame Shock, Lightning Bolt rotation, gather maelstrom with Lightning Bolt and use Lava Burst, Earthshock cycle. Use Elemental Blast with Lava Burst to utilize the Master of the Elements buff. Use Ascendance, Primal Tide Core, Ancestral Swiftness on cooldown. When Icefury is active, consume it with Icefury Flame Shock/Icefury Lava Burst/Earthshock/Lightning Bolt, etc. Use Frost Shock only when there is no Spiritwalker's Grace while moving. Use Chain Lightning when dealing with adds, and use Master of the Elements buff on Earthquake as well. In raids, consume maelstrom with Earthshock instead of Earthquake.

Use the Storm's Guidance talent build. Class talents change depending on the dungeon, specialization talents are the same. Utilize Echoes of the Great Sundering talent, which is key for single target/AoE damage. DPS rotation based on pull size: Flame Shock, spam Lightning Bolt to gather up to 90 maelstrom, then Lava Burst, Nature's Swiftness, Surge of Power, spam, Earthquake. Earthquake can be skipped if the boss is moving or cannot be hit by Earthquake. Use Lava Burst with Stormkeeper-empowered Lightning Bolt to utilize Master of the Elements. 2+ Targets: Switch to Chain Lightning, maintain Flame Shock, use Stormkeeper with Lava Burst, utilize Stormkeeper. Nature's Swiftness, Elemental Attunement, Icefury with Icefury Flame Shock, Lava Burst, Earthquake. Icefury consumes a lot of maelstrom, so use it immediately, and distribute damage with Surge of Power. Change targets while using Surge of Power/Stormkeeper to spread Flame Shock. Big Pulls: Quickly gather maelstrom with Chain Lightning and actively utilize Echoes of the Great Sundering. Only rotate Chain Lightning, Surge of Power, Earthquake, and Stormkeeper cycles. Switch targets while dealing damage.

Actively utilize Magma Totem and Primal Tide Core. Can deal with small, tough enemies.

Mastery > Haste > Critical Strike > Versatility. Avoid exceeding 100% Mastery. Prefer Haste. Focus on Mastery/Critical Strike, do not consider Versatility.
