darkFlash DF4100 MESH ARGB BTF White PC Case
"This review was written after receiving a product from darkFlash."

While aquarium-style cases with tempered glass on two or three sides are trendy, front mesh designs with excellent cooling are still very popular. Moreover, if it's from darkFlash, known for its cost-effective products, there's no reason to hesitate for long. The model I'm introducing this time is the darkFlash DF4100 MESH ARGB BTF. It supports rear connector motherboards and comes standard with 140mm cooling fans, making it suitable for the latest high-performance system builds. Let's take a look at what kind of case it is through a simple build.
"darkFlash DF4100 MESH ARGB BTF Design"

It's a typical mid-tower design with a front mesh structure for optimal airflow, tempered glass on the side, and 7 rear expansion slots. Overall, it's simple but seems to have a good balance of cooling and tuning capabilities. It comes in two colors, white and black, which should appeal to most people, and the frame looks solid.

The power button, status LED, reset button, HD Audio port, two USB 3.0 ports, one USB Type C port, and an LED control button are located on the upper right side, and a detachable dust filter is attached. Below the filter, it is compatible with 3 x 120mm fans or 2 x 140mm fans, and the liquid cooler radiator is compatible up to 360mm.

A large sliding dust filter covering the entire bottom is installed. It can be easily removed from the front, and the left and right panels are also easy to attach and detach using a snap-fit method.

It's a mid-tower size, but the interior seems more spacious than I thought. In addition, it is designed to support motherboards with rear connectors, allowing for clean cable management. It also provides a detachable cable management cover panel on the front, and all rear PCI slot covers are reusable.

Additionally, the PCI slots are modular, so you can mount the graphics card vertically depending on the user environment. However, the riser cable must be purchased separately, and a detachable support is also provided for users with large and heavy graphics cards.

The fact that all four fans (front, rear) are C7A 140 ARGB is a big advantage. They have specs of 950RPM, 45.3 CFM airflow, 19.9dB(A) noise, and use long-lasting and quiet hydro bearings. With its own controller, it supports various RGB modes as well as 5V ARGB synchronization with the motherboard.

The back has enough width to easily manage cables, and cable management cover panels and clips are also pre-set. For storage, there are 2 dedicated SSD mounting locations on the front, and 2 HDDs or 1 HDD + 1 SSD can be used in the bottom detachable storage bay. The power installation space is also quite large.

There is an ARGB 6-port hub, so you can connect tuning products even if the motherboard does not have a 5V ARGB header. The top LED control button is connected to the 2-pin header for convenient control.
"darkFlash DF4100 MESH ARGB BTF Setup"

ITX, M-ATX, ATX, E-ATX, BTF are compatible with ATX and M-ATX motherboards. The maximum height of the air-cooled tower CPU cooler is 185mm, and the graphics card can be used up to 453mm. The front supports 3 x 120mm fans or 3 x 140mm fans, and up to 360mm liquid coolers. The rear supports 1 x 120mm fan or 1 x 140mm fan, and up to 140mm liquid coolers. Therefore, most coolers can be installed, and the setup is very pleasant.

140mm cooling fans can secure more airflow at a lower rpm than 120mm fans, so they can be used relatively quietly. They operate very quietly, and the color and light output of the LEDs are good, ensuring decent tuning performance without having to purchase separate fans.
"darkFlash DF4100 MESH ARGB BTF Review"

darkFlash is definitely a brand that can be recommended for entry-level cases. It seems to be well-made in many ways, considering the efficient internal structure and front mesh for cooling, rear connector motherboard support, convenient side panel opening/closing method, up to 9 cooling fan installation spaces, vertical graphics card installation, ARGB hub, etc., in terms of compatibility, convenience, cooling, and tuning compared to the price. It's a shame that there is no dust filter on the front, but if you are looking for a cost-effective computer case, this is a good product to choose.
