After securing an 8-game winning streak with a 2-0 victory against DRX, and with only one win left to achieve a perfect record in the first round, Gen.G Esports' coach Kim Jeong-soo expressed his satisfaction with the clean victory in a post-match interview. While not hiding his desire for a perfect first round, he emphasized the efforts of the players and coaching staff, expressing his determination to calmly prepare for the next match.
When asked about his feelings on winning Friday's match, coach Kim Jeong-soo simply replied, "Yes, we won the lead cleanly, and I'm happy that we won 2-0," expressing his satisfaction.
