SK Hynix, a popular choice for consumer SSDs, has announced the release of 'Gold P42' and 'Silver S32'.

'Gold P42' is a high-performance SSD product that supports the PCI-Express 4.0 standard interface. It is equipped with SK Hynix's high-quality 176-layer 3D TLC NAND flash memory, providing stable performance and low power consumption to meet consumers' increasing SSD selection criteria.

It supports a maximum sequential read speed of 5100MB/s and a maximum sequential write speed of 4800MB/s based on the 1TB capacity. This is more than 150% improved performance compared to existing PCI-Express 3.0 SSDs, providing the best computing environment for a wide range of users, from professionals such as creators and gamers to general PC users.

It also supports various functions such as 'S.M.A.R.T' for self-diagnosis of product status, 'LDPC ECC', the latest error correction code technology, 'Wear Leveling' to improve product durability and stability, 'Bad Block Management' to minimize read/write errors and increase lifespan and reliability, 'Over Provisioning' to efficiently allocate the storage space ratio of the SSD, and 'TRIM' technology to remove unnecessary memory cells in advance.

'Silver S32' is a 2.5-inch SSD product with a SATA 6Gbps interface that is equipped with only SK Hynix's high-quality NAND flash memory. It supports a maximum sequential read speed of 560MB/s and a maximum sequential write speed of 510MB/s, providing an optimal user experience tailored to various user environments, from everyday tasks and learning to high-end game play.

The 2TB model supports 1200TBW (Total Bytes Written) of reliability and 1.5 million hours of MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures). The case is made of aluminum with a matte anodized finish, satisfying both sophisticated design and excellent durability. In addition, eco-friendly pulp packaging (packaging material) made of sugar cane and bamboo has been added to pursue a harmony between technology and the environment.

In addition, both products provide SK Hynix's exclusive migration software, allowing users to easily clone their current operating system (OS) and data to a new drive with just a few clicks.
