'Stellar Blade' PC version, confirmed for release on the 12th... Pre-orders begin
Shift Up's 'Stellar Blade' PC version, whose release date was previously leaked, is officially confirmed to launch on the 12th (Korean time) and pre-orders will begin.
PlayStation announced the release date and revealed a new video of 'Stellar Blade' through its official channels on the 16th. Pre-orders started on the same day.
The PC version pre-order includes a 'Standard Edition' package and a 'Complete Edition' package. The 'Complete Edition' package includes the main game, in-game currency and cosmetic item perks, 'NieR: Automata' DLC, 'Goddess of Victory: Nikke' DLC, and a limited edition 'Goddess of Victory: Nikke' game-exclusive costume exchange code that can be issued until December 12.
The PC version of Stellar Blade will be optimized with various technologies to provide a pleasant gaming environment. Shift Up announced that it will provide a more vivid and immersive gaming experience to users in various PC environments by enabling frame rate unlock, upscaling function, wide resolution support and high-resolution background texture support, DualSense controller, and extensive settings through user key customization support.
Stellar Blade is a AAA action-adventure game by Shift Up, which was selected as the first Korean Sony second-party developer. It was released exclusively for PS5 in April 2024 and was praised for its extreme action, beautiful graphics, and attractive characters, recording the highest PS Store pre-order rankings in over 60 countries around the world.
In addition, it recorded a Metacritic user score of 9.2, the highest level among PS5 releases at the time, and won awards in 8 categories at the 'PS Blog Game of the Year', in which 1.6 million PlayStation users around the world participated, proving both popularity and artistry and being evaluated as a global success.
