1. Ending Event Quests
The currently running quests 'Bionet's Dancing Rain', 'Sand Scar Two-Headed Ogre's Fierce Soul', and 'Arch-Tempered Redaos' will end after 9 AM on May 21st.
If you haven't crafted the Arch-Tempered Redaos equipment, you need to gather the materials and craft it by the 21st.
2. Event Quests After May 21st
'The Unsealed Tyrant' Quest: After defeating the Guardian Dragon Anjanath, you can acquire materials to craft the Seal Dissolving Cloth item (popular layered armor item).
'Mad Puffer Poru' Quest: After defeating Puffer Poru, you can acquire Mud Shrimp (Evasion Art activates, Evasion Performance +2).
'Lord of the Territory at the Summit' Quest: After defeating Nerscylla, you can acquire Fluffy Flower (Gourmand activates, +7 base attack power for 10 seconds, internal cooldown exists).
3. Expected Update at the End of May
In the update at the end of May, 8-star tempered versions of Gomagala and each field's apex monster (Redaudtu, Nergigante, Zinogre) are expected to be added.
Balance patches are expected for monster health, chance of inflicting wounds, and multiplayer scaling.
Weapon balance patches are scheduled for the end of May update and Title Update 2, with bug fixes related to input delay and delay for Hammer, Long Sword, and Insect Glaive being prioritized.
UI/UX and convenience features will also be updated sequentially.
4. Capcom Collaboration Prediction
A Capcom collaboration is in preparation for the end of May update, with potential collaboration lineups including Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Street Fighter, Kunitsu-Gami, Exoprimal, Dragon's Dogma 2, Azure Gleam, etc.
Personally, I expect a Street Fighter or Resident Evil collaboration, and mention that Kunitsu-Gami's flashy visuals could be implemented as layered armor.
5. Collaboration Hint (Spoiler)
After producing the video, an image hinting at Street Fighter 6 was uploaded to SNS, suggesting that the collaboration at the end of May is likely to be Street Fighter.
