Wuthering Waves New Character 'Chacon' Core Guide Provides comprehensive information about Chacon, including core mechanics, recommended combos, signature weapon pickup guide, and echo setting guide. Chacon is a buffer and sub-DPS specializing in Aero DMG, where the final hit of normal attacks is crucial, and the E skill is used to cancel after-delay. The ultimate can be used by selecting one of two or more effects and is best used at the end of a combo. The signature weapon is efficient but not essential, and the Common Sense Pistol is recommended as an alternative. The Symphony set is effective for echo settings.
Wuthering Waves New Character 'Chacon' Core Guide
1. Chacon Core Mechanics - Final Hit of Normal Attack
Chacon is a buffer and sub-DPS specializing in Aero DMG. The final hit of normal attacks is very important, providing an Aero DMG bonus to the entire party and charging their own Circuit Gauge. The only ways to charge the Circuit Gauge are through Intro Skill and the final hit of normal attacks. Can be linked to normal attacks after any attack.

2. Chacon Core Mechanics - E Skill
Using the E skill creates a clone, but the clone is for visual purposes only and has no damage or aggro function. The E skill can be used to cancel the after-delay of actions. Can cancel the after-delay of the final hit of normal attacks and link to the next normal attack. When the Circuit Gauge is full, a powerful attack can be performed with a Heavy Attack.

3. Chacon Core Mechanics - Ultimate
When activating the ultimate, one of two or more effects can be selected and applied to the enemy. If you switch out immediately after activating the ultimate, the Aero DMG effect is selected, but if you want the Optical effect, you must use the yellow sound wave first in time with the QTE. If you return to Chacon after activating the ultimate, the ultimate will be interrupted, so it should be used at the end of a combo. When activating the ultimate, Concerto Energy must be ready to pass the Cadenza buff to the next DPS.

4. Chacon Recommended Combo and Cycle
Take out the Shotgun with the Intro Skill and use the final hit of the normal attack. Cancel the after-delay with the E skill and link to the normal attack again. Use Intro Skill and normal attacks twice to fill the Circuit and use a Heavy Attack. Activate the ultimate after confirming that the notes are exploding.

5. Chacon Quick Tips
The Aero DMG bonus effect of normal attacks and the ultimate is the same and does not stack. Since the ultimate's damage multiplier is high, you should get into the habit of pulling buffs with normal attacks before using it.

6. Chacon Signature Weapon Pickup Guide
Chacon's signature weapon is an OP weapon, but it's not essential. Aero DMG is highly efficient in the Cartisia party. Recommended if you have extra budget, but F2P players should use alternative weapons. There are no other alternatives to the Common Sense Pistol, and it is not recommended to invest resources in 4-star weapons.

7. Chacon Echo Setting Guide
Since Cartisia is unlikely to be an ATK% DPS, the existing Cloud sets are not effective. The Symphony set is the only effective echo set. For Kira Ronin, you can choose between the Light Surge set or the Symphony set (Light Surge set recommended).

8. Finishing Up
The more you use Chacon, the more you feel the limitations of a 4-star character, but there is hope that this may change after the release of Cartisia. Please subscribe if it was helpful.
