SOOP announced that Kim Min-chul defeated Do Jae-wook with a set score of 4 to 3 in the 'ASL Season 19' finals held at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 1 (PlayX4 Gyeonggi eSports Festival stage) in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 25th (Sun), and won the final championship.
The 600 seats prepared for the finals that day were sold out in 3 seconds, and about 1,500 spectators visited the venue.
Kim Min-chul, who advanced to the ASL finals for the 4th time, achieved an unprecedented record of winning 4 consecutive times since ASL Season 16. At the same time, he achieved the record for the most ASL wins, building a tower of achievement with a 100% win rate in the finals.
In the finals that day, Kim Min-chul showed aggressive moves from the beginning, preventing 'Beast' Do Jae-wook from fully demonstrating his power.
