MapleStory Latest DPM Rankings and Class Tier List (Compared to Challengers World) Based on the latest RT Challenge DPM chart, we analyze the performance of each MapleStory job and present the strengths, weaknesses, operational difficulty, and training direction of each job. 1. Introduction to RT Challenge DPM Chart

The RT Challenge chart is the most accurate DPM chart in MapleStory, measuring DPM not only on scarecrows but also on Seren and Kalos, making it closer to actual boss damage. A disadvantage is that DPM may vary depending on the skill of the measuring user.
2. Job Evaluation Criteria (Star Rating System)

1 Star: Jobs that are significantly less worthwhile to raise compared to other jobs. 2 Stars: Ambiguous performance, jobs with lower DPM than Bishop or with flaws. 3 Stars: Jobs that are decent to raise. 4 Stars: Jobs with better performance compared to other jobs. 5 Stars: OP Jobs

A magician job that uses double jump instead of teleport, the absence of teleport is a major disadvantage. The damage structure that requires using the eruption installation skill every 11 seconds reveals flaws when the boss teleports/dashes. The long delay of Spirit Rooting provides the worst control, and due to damage structure flaws and control issues, it recorded the 46th lowest DPM among all jobs.
4. Kinesis, Demon Slayer, Flame Wizard

Kinesis: Plunged to the bottom after the balance patch nerf, train's after-delay issue, loss of hunting performance advantage after Janus release. Demon Slayer: Structure improved but damage reduced, DPM ranking dropped disastrously. Flame Wizard: Buffed but still lacking, scarecrow damage was decent but actual boss damage is in the bottom tier, unpleasant control due to skill delay, low DPM.
5. Night Walker, Cannon Shooter, Wild Hunter, Pathfinder

Night Walker: Damage structure worsened, utility is good but burst time is too long and requires key-down. Cannon Shooter: Wide X-axis range, good mobility, severe after-delay, difficult to operate Coco Ball skill. Wild Hunter: 30 seconds of invincibility possible, but skill difficulty is very high, recommend higher DPM and easier Bowmaster/Illium. Pathfinder: Scarecrow damage is decent, actual boss damage is very low, key-down, after-delay, gauge, unpleasant control, and many other disadvantages.
6. Bishop, Battle Mage, Luminous

Bishop: Maple's strongest supporter, heal, shield, synergy, teleport survival, requires high job understanding, not recommended for solo players. Battle Mage: Nerfed but has synergy, strong mobility, low mastery core enhancement efficiency, low DPM. Luminous: Dark mode invincibility, good survival skills such as aerial teleport, boss damage is in the top tier, difficult to burst in parties due to gauge structure issues.
7. Captain, Dual Blade, Mihile

Captain: Stable direct hit damage, excellent survival skills, main skill after-delay, severe summon damage loss. Dual Blade: Utility such as invincibility and Dark Sight, key-down every minute, low DPM, utility nerfed in balance patch. Mihile: 66% invincibility when Royal Guard hits 100%, very good survival, low DPM.
8. Soul Master, Night Lord, Angelic Buster, Paladin

Soul Master: Recommended for newbies, easy control. Night Lord: Throwing stars and kiss damage, requires close-range boss damage due to Spread Throw. Angelic Buster: Self-invincibility skill, good low-spec efficiency, high burst damage proportion per minute, important cooldown management. Paladin: 30-second invincibility, top-tier survivability, 4-second burst compression, poor solo performance.
9. Ice/Lightning Mage, Aran, Hero

Ice/Lightning Mage: 13-second bind, easy damage structure, good for starting to train among magician jobs, ambiguous DPM. Aran: Strong burst, excellent compression, weak sustained damage, high low-end, low high-end. Hero: Raging Blow main skill, simple damage structure, good for both newbies and veterans' alts, clunky control unique to warrior jobs.
10. Dark Knight, Shadower, Viper, Blaster

Dark Knight: Reincarnation, good utility, boss survival, uses skills every 20 seconds, high cooldown. Shadower: Meso Up, Item Acquisition, Assassinate cancel wrist strain. Viper: Easy structure, Advanced Dash mobility, decent DPM. Blaster: Most difficult difficulty along with Cadena, various combos, cancels, murderous difficulty, ambiguous DPM.
11. Hoyoung, Adele, Phantom

Hoyoung: Excellent mobility, utility, burst, difficult gauge system, combos. Adele: Increased Dyke invincibility time, Storm buff, easy damage structure, complex skills. Phantom: Utility, Dark Sight, mobility, survivability, high reliance on Holy Symbol.
12. Demon Avenger, Mercedes, Kaiser

Demon Avenger: High DPM, HP leech, forced Luposi. Mercedes: High scarecrow damage, low boss damage, Suo advantage. Kaiser: Boss, solo, teleport, weak burst, important sustained damage.
13. Xenon, Zero, Fire/Poison Mage

Xenon: Maple's strongest burst, bad control, bad damage structure, powerful burst, decent sustained damage. Zero: Burst, invincibility, teleport, bind, high DPM, TF system, combos. Fire/Poison Mage: Overwhelming boss damage, stationary hunting, teleport, difficult operation.
14. Evan, Khali, Illium

Evan: Mir, Evan skills, fusion skills, cancels, high DPM. Khali: Best mobility, high boss DPM, death count loss if cancel is missed. Illium: Gauge system improved, after-delay reduced, burst compression, easy difficulty, high DPM, no disadvantages.
15. Cadena

Cadena: 1st in DPM among all jobs, cancels, tricks, most difficult difficulty.
