Introduction to the 'Horrific Visions' content, which restarted on May 22, 2025. Acquire various rewards (mounts, transmogs, achievements, Heroic-level gear, Golden Emblems). Most important reward: Head enchant (Lesser, Greater) - Only Lesser Head Enchant is open in the first week. Horrific Visions quest completion required, may seem complicated for first-timers. This video provides a detailed walkthrough for beginners.

Quest only needs to be completed by one character within the account. Check the location of the 'Rediscovered Horrific Visions' event through Brunn. Accept the 'A True Vision of Horror' quest from Eerie Doru and collect 10 Timeless Essence. Horrific Visions portal opens after quest completion. Accept the 'Into the Darkened Mind' quest and talk to Eerie Doru to apply for the scenario dungeon. Progresses alternately in Stormwind and Orgrimmar, can be done regardless of race. It's best to do the tasks that need to be done in Stormwind in the first week. Talk to Wrathion to complete preparations to enter the vision.

First quest: Collect 20 Twisted Mementos (acquired from reward chests in Wrathion's room). Defeat Alleria in the Cathedral for quick quest completion. Exit through the portal to Durotar and complete the quest. Talk to Aughermu to acquire Echoes of Ny'alotha and spend traits at the hourglass (only the first row is open in the first week). Orb Usage Guide is essential, try to get them all if possible. Key: Sanity management (instant death if Sanity reaches 0), use orbs to replenish Sanity. Additional objective completion and Memento collection are important. Next quest: 'Borrowing from the Void' (Lesser Head Enchant reward).

'Borrowing from the Void' quest: Collect 8 Blackblood Residue and 500 Twisted Mementos. Mementos are naturally collected in the process of collecting Blackblood Residue. Blackblood Residue is acquired by completing additional objectives in the four districts of Stormwind (Cathedral, Dwarven, Old Town, Trade, Mage Quarter) and opening reward chests in Wrathion's room. Detailed strategy for additional objectives in each district (Knock down the Newspaper Vendor, Defeat the Slave Overseer, Rescue Prisoners, Plant Explosives, Obtain Terenson/Alscott Key, Close Void Rifts, Defeat Archmage Umbric, etc.). If Sanity is low or you die, return to Durotar, re-apply for the scenario dungeon, and try again. Clicking the Bronze Hourglass in Wrathion's room is unnecessary. Acquire Lesser Head Enchant reward after quest completion (6 types).

Lesser Rune of the Void is best for most classes as it increases secondary stats. Head enchants and currency are Battle.net account bound, farm with the strongest character and send to alts. Information on collectibles and achievements will be provided in the next video.
