This guide focuses on how Evan players can effectively tackle Seren, rather than just explaining Seren's patterns. Watching the previous bossing tips video will be helpful. Seren is divided into Phase 1 and Phase 2.

Managing the Sun Gauge and using normal attack cancels (attack canceling) are crucial. The Sun Gauge fills up upon being hit by many patterns, so prioritize avoiding patterns that inflict status ailments. Seren's patterns have long cast animations and can be dodged by crouching, so make it a habit to normal attack cancel then crouch. As Evan, repeating Fusion Skill - Seo-eoma - Crouch allows you to perform normal attack cancels effectively without losing DPS.

In Phase 1, be cautious of the ground patterns, dash, and sword energy patterns. Evan has aerial teleport, but it's less effective in Phase 1 due to the ground patterns. It's better to use Lute Teleport (lying down teleport) to dodge patterns. If you fail to manage the gauge, there's also a method to reduce the gauge in the air. For burst DPS, lure Seren to a corner, utilize Liberation invincibility, or avoid the ground patterns before unleashing your burst.

Phase 2 has 4 time periods (Noon, Sunset, Midnight, Dawn), each with different patterns. A high level of understanding of each time period is important.

Noon has many patterns that fill the Sun Gauge quickly, so focus on dodging patterns. The X-shaped laser, frontal laser, and stab patterns are tricky. If bombs are created during the X-shaped laser, dodge with Ethereal Form or Dragon Master. The frontal laser inflicts stun, so you must avoid it. When bursting, lure Seren to a corner and be careful not to get hit by the bombs.

Sunset has reduced healing efficiency and increased pattern damage, making healing management important. You need to manage your HP with Usable Holy Fountain and potions. The sword ground patterns and meteor patterns are tricky. The meteors inflict seal, so you must immediately remove it with a Will skill. If you have enough gauge, you can take the stab while dealing damage with normal attack cancels. When bursting, dodge the triple slash and dash patterns before dealing damage.

Midnight is a resting time period where the Sun Gauge disappears and patterns weaken. You should deal as much damage as possible. Be careful of the shockwave pattern after the dash, and create distance with teleport. It's easy if you install Holy Fountain and endure the stabs and rain.

Dawn is the most difficult time period with many patterns that inflict status ailments. Focus on dodging patterns and don't be greedy for damage. You need to avoid the Lurkers and frequently move from one corner to the opposite corner. Use Teleport - Up Jump - Aerial Teleport to move safely. When bursting, deal damage after the Lurkers have left.

Seren has been improved and is now a manageable boss, so don't give up and practice to get good rewards.
