DRX Head Coach Kim Sang-soo: "Yehoo's call-up was successful, we will reorganize the team's direction."

DRX's head coach Kim Sang-soo and mid-laner Ye-hoo, who won 2:1 against OK Savings Bank Brion, expressed their joy of victory and revealed their plans for the team's future. Head coach Kim Sang-soo expressed satisfaction with Ye-hoo's performance and emphasized the importance of reorganizing the team for the upcoming Round 3.

In his post-match comments, Ye-hoo said, "I was excited and had fun playing after a long time," and "When we unfortunately lost the second set, I thought we had to win the third set no matter what, so I worked hard and won." Head coach Kim Sang-soo said, "We started unfavorably in the beginning, but I'm happy that we led the game well and made a comeback," and "I'm grateful that Ye-hoo suddenly played after a long time and wasn't nervous, and I'm glad he showed a good game."

Regarding the reason for calling up Ye-hoo, head coach Kim Sang-soo explained, "Ye-hoo is a player who handles the game flow and current meta champions well from his time in the Challengers League and knows the game flow well." He added, "He contributed a lot to good calls and operations in today's game, and that's why he was used." Ye-hoo himself said, "I used to be nervous, but I learned how not to be nervous by playing in many Challengers Korea matches," and "When I played this time, I thought it was important to apply this so that my performance would come out as well as possible without being nervous."

Regarding the suspected Ari ultimate bug situation during the game, Ye-hoo honestly said, "I thought it was a real bug. There was a situation where it didn't work once in scrims, and I thought it was a bug." He said, "I caught the opponent's Poppy in the grub fight, but even though the electricity came in, the ultimate didn't charge, so I thought, 'What if it's not a bug?' but I was so upset that I called a pause. I was disappointed that it wasn't a bug," he said, recounting the situation.

Regarding the feedback on today's game, head coach Kim Sang-soo pointed out, "Overall, we showed a good performance in terms of operational aspects in all sets, collecting gold, but there were parts where the sharp main force operation deviated before the side operation." He said, "It is important to give feedback on these parts so that they can do better."

Regarding the roster change plan before the start of Round 3, head coach Kim Sang-soo hinted at the possibility of roster reorganization, saying, "We need a player who fits well with the team and the team's direction." He emphasized, "We have won and lost, but I think there are many things that need to be fixed based on the games we have experienced. It will be a valuable time to match various feedbacks and team directions." When asked what kind of player fits the team, head coach Kim Sang-soo replied, "When establishing champion tiers and many things, we select roles or drafts that we can lead, and in that regard, the most important thing is whether the ability to judge and execute meta-appropriate champions can be developed."

Finally, head coach Kim Sang-soo sent a message to the fans, saying, "We have the last game of Round 2 left, and I will show a good and welcoming appearance in the last game so that we can improve further in the future." Ye-hoo also said, "Thank you for always cheering me on, and I think I won today because I received that energy," and "If you continue to cheer me on hard in the next game, I will repay you with a victory," leaving a message of gratitude.
