CFO 'Kaiwing', "Gen.G is the championship favorite... because of the changed 'Chovy'"
In an interview, CFO's support player 'Kaiwing', who is participating in the 2025 MSI, revealed his determination for the tournament. He said, "I'm participating in the tournament with a mindset to achieve better results," and mentioned "reaching the semifinals" as a specific goal. Furthermore, he expressed his desire to "stand on the finals stage if the opportunity arises."
'Kaiwing' honestly answered about his adaptation to the local environment. He said, "I have no problem adapting to the food." He explained that there are many Hong Kong restaurants in Vancouver, so there are no difficulties with his diet. However, regarding the jet lag, he said, "I'm still adjusting." He also showed that he is taking care of his personal health, saying, "I always take health supplements and medicine regularly," and that he has no problems with stomachaches, etc.
Regarding the local practice environment, 'Kaiwing' said, "I've only scrimmed twice since I arrived." He added that he is thinking about how to prepare for the remaining time. When asked about the new patch meta, he predicted as a support player, "Many champions who are good at initiating will appear."
When asked about a joker card, 'Kaiwing' replied, "I always have such a card prepared, but I haven't taken it out yet." However, he said, "If it comes to the 5th set and the timing is right to take it out after seeing the opponent's ban picks and lineup, I might take it out," asking fans to look forward to it.
'Kaiwing' revealed that he wants to meet and compete against all four teams, two LCK teams and two LPL teams, in this tournament. He explained that he thinks these four teams are the favorites to win this tournament. He picked Gen.G as the most wary team and the strong favorite to win. 'Kaiwing' emphasized Gen.G's strengths, saying, "Gen.G has 'Chovy', who has changed a lot this year, so I think Gen.G will win."
'Kaiwing' vowed, "I will play each game without regrets." He also concluded the interview with a promise to fans, saying, "I will show you a more passionate side of myself."
