Version 6.0 marks the beginning of the Nordkrieq Saga, a new region in Genshin Impact. The Nordkrieq Saga is expected to unfold over a total of 9 versions, from 6.0 to 6.8. This is expected to provide more in-depth storytelling than the Fontaine Saga.

Four Fatui Harbingers are expected to actively participate in the Nordkrieq storyline. The appearances of Columbina, Sandrone, and Dottore have been confirmed, and the remaining one is yet to be determined. The Harbingers' quick appearance suggests that Nordkrieq will be a major battleground for the Fatui.

Columbina is expected to receive a dedicated Story Quest in Nordkrieq. HoyoVerse plans to support Columbina with extensive promotion, including a special CM trailer, 3D animated short, and character PV. This suggests that Columbina will play a central role in the story, going beyond being a simple villain.

The possibility of a Sumeru region character-focused bundle wish banner appearing in Version 6.1 has been raised. Characters whose reruns have been delayed, such as Cyno, Wanderer, and Alhaitham, may be included in the bundle wish. If HoyoVerse follows a similar pattern to the Inazuma bundle wish, there may be no Sumeru character reruns in version 5.8 or 6.0.

The Version 6.0 anniversary rewards are expected to be similar to or better than the Natlan anniversary celebration. More substantial rewards can be expected compared to past anniversary rewards. There are also expectations for game system optimization, such as daily commissions, resin efficiency, and the artifact management system.

Nordkrieq will be a turning point in the narrative, not just a new region. Direct conflict with the Fatui, a dark atmosphere, political elements, and personal stories are expected to be emphasized. Version 6.0 will be an important time for the game to enter the next stage.
