Gen.G's victory concludes the 2025 MSI, recording the highest viewership in MSI history.
The 2025 MSI finals, held in Vancouver, Canada, saw Gen.G triumph over T1 3:2 after an incredible match.
This finals recorded the highest viewership (3,424,289) of any MSI match ever, about 21% higher than the 2,829,728 recorded for T1 vs. BLG in 2024.
The second-highest viewership for this tournament was also the Gen.G vs. T1 upper bracket final match, recording 2,689,646 viewers. 3rd place was T1 vs. AL, 4th was T1 vs. BLG, and 5th was T1 vs. CFO, showing T1's popularity once again. Esports Charts does not include Chinese viewership, so the actual number of viewers is likely much higher.
Meanwhile, after MSI, the Esports World Cup LoL matches being held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will take place from the 16th to the 20th, with Gen.G, T1, and Hanwha Life Esports participating from Korea.
