The Esports World Cup is underway in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from July 7th to August 24th, and the LoL event is about to begin.

LoL, which runs from July 16th to 20th, includes many teams that participated in MSI, such as LCK's Gen.G, T1, Hanwha Life Esports, and LPL's BLG and AL, adding to the interest with the stories of the teams built up at MSI.

The first match on the 16th is between CTBC Flying Oyster, who showed their strength at MSI, and Hanwha Life Esports. While it is unlikely that Hanwha Life, which starts from the group stage, will fail to advance to the upper rounds, the biggest variable is that the group stage is a single game.

The full-fledged playoff tournament will be held from the 17th, and Gen.G and last year's champion, T1, will start from here. From now on, all matches except the final will be BO3, and only the final will be BO5. EWC LoL starts on the 16th at 6 PM KST, and only on the 20th, when the final is held, the 3rd and 4th place match will be held from 5 PM, and after it ends, the final will be held.
