The 'DNF Universe2025' event, which was supposed to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Dungeon & Fighter and bring together various Neople games in one place, has been canceled.
Neople announced on the 14th through its official website that 'the Dungeon & Fighter Universe (DNF Universe) 2025 event has been inevitably canceled.' They added that although they had been preparing a lot internally and there was still time left until the event, they decided to cancel the event because 'due to internal circumstances, it was determined that it would be difficult to present all the content that they originally wanted to show with sufficient completeness,' explaining the background.
Neople announced that instead of the prepared event, it will be changed to a social contribution event commemorating the 20th anniversary of Dungeon & Fighter. While details will be announced later due to the sudden cancellation, they also announced that they are planning it as a playground where many children can have fun during the hot summer.
Dungeon & Fighter Universe 2025 was planned as an offline event to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Dungeon & Fighter, bringing together various Neople games such as PC Dungeon & Fighter, Dungeon & Fighter Mobile, First Berserker: Khazan, and Cyphers. As a large-scale event was scheduled to be held on August 9th and 10th, various lectures, demonstration zones, and collaboration goods were also planned to be showcased.
Park Jong-min, general director of Dungeon & Fighter, apologized for the sudden cancellation, but said that the future update schedule will proceed as planned and that they will focus more on live service. In addition, Universe Han Day will be converted to an online Han Day, and he said, 'We will prepare Dungeon & Fighter Universe 2025 more richly and come back to you in the future.'
