July 17 MapleStory Challengers World Leap Newbie Tips Here's some newbie-friendly advice for the Challenger's World Leap starting on July 17th. We'll cover Tera Burning alt leveling followed by a leap to the main server, how to get and use boss coins using Chaos Vellum, and world selection tips.
1. Challenger's World Leap, Why Bother?
00:00 - 01:29
You gotta level a Tera Burning alt in Challenger's World and then leap to the main server as soon as the leap opens on July 17th. If you bought the Welcome Pack, grab the character slot expansion coupon from the Cash Shop storage and put it in the inventory of the character you're leaping.
2. Tera Burning Alt Selection Tips
01:30 - 02:08
Don't leap with an alt you're using for Empress's Blessing. The passive skill will disappear. For Tera Burning characters, pick a class with good burst damage compression and a 5th job burst skill with 100% PDR (ignore enemy defense) option, rather than a class that relies on consistent damage.
3. Ultimate Ring Usage and Boss Coin Acquisition Strategy
02:09 - 03:38
The goal is to farm Chaos Vellum with the Ultimate Ring to get boss coins. You can get 300 boss coins for clearing Chaos Vellum. Consistently buy 3 Chaos Black Cubes (CBlacks) and Chaos White Cubes (CWhites) from the boss coin shop every week. You can save up these cubes and dump them on your Challenger's main character later.
4. Tips for Players Staying in Challenger's World
03:39 - 04:27
If you're staying in Challenger's World until November, you can sell CBlacks and CWhites to people who need them. If you're too lazy for that, collect coins and buy Karma Powerful Enhancement Scrolls to work on your main character's pet equipment.
5. World Selection Tips
04:28 - 05:12
If you have friends, leap to the world where your friends are. If you're playing solo, I recommend the Scania server. (Better supply and price competitiveness). As alternatives, there are Luna, Elysium, and Croa servers.
