Core Keeper 1.1: The Ultimate Mob Farm Building Guide
This video shows how to make the largest possible mob farm in Core Keeper. The creator used a map tool to identify spawn cells and crystal crust tiles to increase the mob spawn rate. However, the creator warns that it is unrealistic to create this farm in vanilla because they used mods to obtain resources and clear space. The end result provides a large amount of loot, but the creation process requires a lot of time and effort.
1. Introduction to the Largest Mob Farm
- Aiming to create the largest possible mob farm in Core Keeper
- Aiming to spawn all enemies in the game in a small space
- Explanation of the mob spawn system: Generates 1 mob per spawn type in the area every 20 minutes
- Each spawn cell is 16x16 in size, and mobs can spawn up to 28 tiles away from the player
- The final mob farm consists of 26x26 spawn cells or 676 spawn cells
- This is larger than the entire dirt biome, including the bear tracks
- Used approximately 8,000 temple blocks to build the walls
- Used over 65,000 crystal crust tiles and conveyor belts to build the farm

2. Reason for Using Crystal Crust Tiles and Placement of Spawn Cells
- Ancient gems, rubies, sapphires, emeralds, and mechanical parts are the most difficult items to obtain in large quantities and are needed for end-game crafting such as portals and equipment upgrades
- Used a map tool to identify the location of each cell
- Placed 96 crystal crust tiles in each spawn cell to spawn mites and orbital turrets with a 99% probability
- Bundled them together at the edge of the spawn cell to create a long line 12 tiles wide
02:28 - 03:21
3. Using Mods and Caution Regarding Boss Spawner Locations
- Used a chat command mod to clear space and remove immovable items
- Replicating this mob farm without mods is not recommended
- Even when using mods, be careful not to build near boss spawners as they cannot be moved
03:22 - 04:06
4. Expanding the Kill Box and Adding an Automatic Sorter
- The original kill box was too small, causing mobs to clump together
- Expanded the kill box and installed additional turrets because the turrets were not attacking the mobs enough
- Designed to prevent mobs from piling up too much
- Added a basic automatic sorter in the center to sort the loot and discard the rest
04:07 - 04:24
5. Loot Acquisition Results
- Revealing the loot obtained after a few hours
- Discarded additional armor and weapons to acquire more loot
- A pretty good haul obtained without doing anything
04:25 - 05:10
6. Reasons Not to Recommend Building a Mob Farm
- Took a total of 9 hours and used cheat commands to clear space and spawn the necessary items
- It is unrealistic to create a mob farm of this size in vanilla
- It is the ultimate mob farm that accurately spawns the desired mobs in every spawn cell and gathers them in one place, but it is not a practical design
