HoYoverse, Honkai Impact 3rd Version 8.5 "Love is Like a Light" Update
Global interactive entertainment brand HoYoverse announced on the 24th that it has updated Honkai Impact 3rd with version 8.5, ‘Love is in the Light’.
In this 8.5 version, Elysia's new S-rank battlesuit ‘Farewell♪ Loving Elf♥’ appears, and the theme event ‘Assemble! Youthful Dreams’ and the main story ‘Under the Light of Faith’ are also added. ‘Farewell♪ Loving Elf♥’ is a Stellar type character who dances with a light step and defeats enemies with a bow, and can summon a small lion to inflict a 4-hit combo of Ice elemental damage to enemies.
She receives the blessing of the Star Ring domain, the Chalice of Naturalness, possessing both Boundary Resonance and Starshadow Sojourn. During Starburst, activating these traits triggers a Boundary Resonance mark to deal additional damage or become a shadow servant to attack.
In the returning St. Freya Academy and Golden Courtyard joint event ‘Assemble! Youthful Dreams’, Kiana wishes upon the Lion of Love for a fun and comfortable school life without homework or exams, and you can experience a special day prepared by Elysia for her.
By completing event missions, you will acquire event coins, which can be exchanged for Valkyrie·Blast's new costume ‘Genius Archdemon’, Crystals, Source Prisms, and more in the shop. In Main Story Part 2, Chapter 10 EX ‘Under the Light of Faith’, the Dreamseeker says goodbye to Chishu and faces Layla, confirming their resolve and absorbing Layla's power. Afterwards, the story unfolds with the Dreamseeker reuniting with Senadia in a new city. Participating in the main story content will reward you with Crystals, Dreamseeker Chips, Source Prisms, and more.
Along with this, participating in the login event will provide 10 Equipment Supply Cards, a Stigma Option Box, 1 Prism Stigma Enhancement Ticket, Crystals, and more.
In addition, during the early part of the version, a S-rank character selection box and 3 Supply Option Boxes will be given, allowing you to choose one of the rewards such as ‘Herrscher of Human: Ego’ and ‘Herrscher of Truth’ rank-up stamps. Furthermore, starting on the 27th, the festival supply will be opened alternately, and you can acquire a total of 2 festival character 10-pull supply coupons just by logging into the game during the event period.
