ARK: Survival Ascended: 5 New Creature Mods You Have to Try! This video introduces five new creature mods for ARK: Survival Ascended that have been released in the last month. Details are given on each creature, their abilities, taming methods, and unique characteristics.

1. 🎮 Taniwasaurus: An aquatic creature from Kami's Feral Critters

✅ Part of Kami's Feral Critters Pack (free mod).
✅ Resembles a Mosasaurus, but smaller.
✅ Spawns in most parts of the ocean, especially in deeper regions.
✅ Taming similar to the Equus underwater with Simple Kibble.
⚠️ Currently bugged taming method (riding not possible after the first feeding).
✅ Saddle available from level 15.
✅ Fast swimming speed and decent stats for its size.
✅ Can jump out of the water like a dolphin and go on land.
✅ Dash ability with short cooldown.
✅ Scans for deep-sea loot crates (currently bugged).
✅ Dwarf variant tamable like an Otter (feed fish).
✅ Dwarf variant as a shoulder pet with taming assistance (reduces food requirements of wild creatures).
✅ Offers similar abilities to the Otter (carry multiple artifacts, insulation buff).

✅ Part of Cammy's Feral Creatures Mod.
✅ Large predator with similar stats to the Rex (tankier, less damage).
✅ Spawns in grasslands and redwood forests.
✅ Passive taming: Dodo egg in the hotbar, then feed live Dodos.
✅ Saddle unlockable at level 60.
✅ Relatively fast and agile.

Angriff	Effekt
Biss	Decent damage, good for harvesting berries, meat, fibers.
Greifen	Primary attack on a grabbed target becomes a Ferraenino-like bleed damage. Kills the target and heals some of the lost health.
Terrorgebrüll	Works similarly to the Yutyrannus' roar (scares away smaller creatures).
Sitzen	Healing buff (similar to Megachelon and Calico).

✅ Saddle offers a passenger seat where both players can use weapons.
✅ Passenger is protected from attacks by wild creatures (except for direct attacks by ridden creatures).
✅ Different variants: Aberrant (smaller), Standard, Scorched (larger).
✅ Alpha variant can be killed for cosmetic skins.

✅ Symbols: Standing dino (primary attack), dino with butt up (secondary attack), dino stomping (crouch).
✅ Raw mutton and exceptional kibble improve taming efficiency.
✅ Saddle available from level 15.
✅ Exceptional sprint speed.

✅ Brings Crystal Wyverns back to Ark Survival Ascended.
✅ On maps with Wyvern trenches, they spawn alongside Vanilla variants (aggressive, taming by stealing eggs).
✅ On maps without Wyvern trenches, they are neutral.
✅ Tropical Wyvern: Beaches and sulfur fields on Extinction.
✅ Blood Wyvern: Swamps.
✅ Ember Wyvern: Lava biomes and desert dome mountains on Extinction or Redwood forests.
✅ Neutral Crystal Wyverns are tamed like Vanilla Wyverns (Primal Crystals).
✅ Regular crystals can also be used (worse efficiency).
✅ Dive and swoop like the Griffin.
✅ Unique color sets and crystal embellishments.

Wyvern	Passive Buffs
Alle	15% additional damage, 20% movement speed, 25% health regeneration
Tropisch	Buff when touching water (45 seconds), constant in rain.
Ember	Buff in lava, healing from fire attacks (like Phoenix).
Blut	Passive buff only at night (45 seconds after the end of the night).

5. 🛩️ Hatzegopteryx Kukulkan: The new ruler of the skies with a jetpack saddle

✅ Premium mod by Tweesizes and the Hatscopter team (5$).
✅ Rare spawns in mountain regions (except Aberration).
✅ Different variants: Zius's Version, Paleo (Paleo Ark Ascension Mod required), Archology (Archology New Encounters Mod required).
✅ Taming: Kill one, take the trophy.
✅ Place the trophy on the ground to attract the Hatzegopteryx.
✅ Fight the Hatzegopteryx to below 50% health.
✅ Ride it to prove your worth (minigame).
✅ Two saddles: Normal (Level 92), Jetpack (Level 98).
