Silksong: Additional Cut Content Discoveries This video delves into the deleted content of Hollow Knight: Silksong, including details about the Red Coral Canyon, discarded sprites and assets, deleted cinematics, map zones that did not make it to the final game, discarded game mechanics and other miscellaneous elements. 1. 🌊 Red Coral Canyon: Final Details and Reasons for its Removal
  • ✅ The Red Coral Canyon was going to be what we now know as Karak Sands and Worn Steps.
  • ⚠️ Team Cherry removed this area because they felt it didn't fit the tone of the game, as they wanted to reflect the destruction of life in Farlum by the citadel.
  • ✅ In its final stage (2021), the bridge that Hornet breaks at the beginning was repaired by workers from the lower workshops.
  • ✅ The area contained numerous rooms with lakes, including the Last Judge's room.
  • ✅ The map showed areas with bluish lighting to recharge plasm.
  • ✅ The Needle Master's house was located in the northernmost part of the area, and Bolt's nest was integrated into the map.
  • ✅ The Border Watcher's arena was larger and directly connected to the wastelands.
