This tutorial shows two different layouts for Pilei production in Anno 117: Pax Romana. The first layout is beginner-friendly, simple, efficient, and expandable. - ✅ Pileus Felt Makers need Sheep as a raw material.

2. 🧱 Simple & Efficient Pilei Layout for Beginners
- ✅ First, place a Sheep Farm.
- ✅ Place the three pastures directly above it.
- ✅ Copy the arrangement of Sheep Farm and pastures directly next to it.
- ✅ Place two Pileus Felt Makers below each Sheep Farm, as one Sheep Farm produces enough to supply two Felt Makers.
- ✅ Surround the whole thing with roads.
- ✅ Place a Warehouse in front of the production facilities. One warehouse is enough to supply this arrangement.
- ✅ The layout can be copied as many times as you like.

3. 🏘️ Integrating Pileus Felt Makers into the City for Bonus Effects
- ✅ Pileus Felt Makers have an area effect and can be built directly into the settlement to achieve bonus effects.
- ✅ One Pileus Felt Maker is enough to supply 59-109 houses, depending on the population level.
- ✅ In 3x3 blocks, houses can be removed and replaced with a Pileus Felt Maker.
- ✅ Integration is also possible in 2x3 blocks or triangular arrangements.
- ✅ Connect the Pileus Felt Maker with a road and add a well or watchtower if necessary.

4. ✨ Beauty Build Layout for Pilei Production
- ✅ Place a Warehouse, but deactivate diagonal building.
- ✅ Place a Pileus Felt Maker directly next to the warehouse, so that the gate of the Felt Maker points towards the warehouse.
- ✅ Build a path past the Pileus Felt Maker, but not to the last tile.
- ✅ Place the first Sheep Farm with two tiles distance to the Pileus Felt Maker.
- ✅ Place a pasture directly next to the Sheep Farm.
- ✅ Leave one tile free and place the next two pastures.
- ✅ Build a path along in front of the Sheep Farm.
- ✅ Copy this arrangement and place it one tile apart below.
- ✅ Connect the arrangements with a path.

5. 🌳 Decoration and further design of the layout
- ✅ For decoration, you can place a fountain, for example.
- ✅ Reactivate diagonal building to be able to decorate better.
- ✅ Create a small edge with stone slabs.
- ✅ Use muddy ground and plant olive trees.
- ✅ Surround the whole thing with a stone wall or a hedge.
- ✅ Add trimmed conifers or flowers.
- ✅ The Peleos Felt Makers themselves can then be very well integrated into the city.
