'Diablo 4' Season 11, starts 'October 12th at 1:30 PM'

Blizzard Entertainment announced that Diablo IV's 11th season, 'Season of Divine Intervention,' will officially begin on December 12th at 1:30 PM (Korean time). This season features a major update that overhauls core gameplay elements such as the item system and combat structure, along with a full-scale invasion of Sanctuary by high-level demons.
At the heart of the new season is a new combat experience surrounding the chaos of Akarat's bizarre return, along with the reappearance of iconic demons from the Diablo universe, led by Azmodan. Azmodan makes his first appearance in Diablo IV as an outdoor boss and can be summoned directly via beacons to fight. Duriel, Belial, and Andariel also exert pressure throughout Sanctuary, each using their own unique mechanics in different environments.
The overall combat has been redesigned to be more strategic. With the monster combat system revamp applied with the season, the behavior patterns and roles of enemies become clearer, and the density and difficulty of combat increase as attribute combinations diversify. Players must employ active combat strategies to respond to smarter enemies.
The item growth structure is also being extensively overhauled. The newly added Sanctification system adds a new axis to endgame build design by infusing equipment with celestial power to enhance existing legendary abilities or grant new effects.
Along with this, Tempering is improved to allow direct selection of desired attributes from the recipe, and Masterworking is reorganized to clearly enhance the basic stats of equipment, streamlining the growth path.
Endgame content is also expanded. The Season Rank structure, which is added along with the season, is structured in such a way that you can only enter the next rank by breaking through the highest difficulty dungeon, and the higher the rank, the higher the reward. This will provide new goals and challenges throughout the season.
