3 consecutive POG 'ShowMaker', "Thanks to my teammates for creating a good environment"

Dplus KIA defeated OK Savings Bank Brion and DRX on the second day of the '2025 KeSPA Cup' group stage, held online on the 7th, reaching 3 wins. With today's victory, Dplus KIA secured first place in Group B and advanced directly to the finals. They will play their last group stage match against kt Rolster on the 3rd day.

In an interview after the match, Heo 'ShowMaker' Su said, "All five DRX players are also in the first team, and their momentum had been so good until now, so I thought it would be a fun match. I actually enjoyed it a lot. I expected the jungle substitution to some extent, and when 'Willer' Kim Jeong-hyeon came out, I just thought, 'Oh, okay.'"

'ShowMaker' was selected as POG with Ryze and Syndra today, following Malzahar in the first game, monopolizing the POGs. He is showing off his peak performance. Regarding this, 'ShowMaker' gave credit to his teammates, saying, "The team members create an environment where I can do well. Thanks to that, I can concentrate well and show good performance."

Dplus KIA made changes to the bot duo ahead of the 2026 season. 'Smash' Shin Geum-jae and 'Career' Oh Hyeong-seok replaced 'Aiming' Kim Ha-ram and 'BeryL' Jo Geon-hee. 'ShowMaker' said, "We are in the process of working together, and it is going smoothly. I like the process. If we work hard with the current atmosphere, we will become an increasingly scary team."

He added, "The 'Aiming-BeryL' duo are both veterans and had a feeling of commanding everything well. There were concerns about the 'Smash-Career' duo because they have relatively less experience, but after working with them, I don't feel that at all, and they are full of strengths. Their physical abilities and instant combat skills are really outstanding."

This year, 'ShowMaker' had to swallow his disappointment after failing to advance to Worlds for the first time. He said, "I have been in a slump for a long time, so I am working hard to rebound. Ironically, not going to Worlds and taking a break has become an opportunity for me to rebound next year. I am going to prepare hard. I just hope the results are good."

Finally, when asked about his goals for the 2026 season, 'ShowMaker' concluded the interview by saying, "I haven't been able to participate in many international tournaments recently. I want to participate in as many tournaments as possible next year, including the Asian Games, First Stand, and MSI, and achieve good results."
