This is a guide on how to defeat Bloom Reaper, the new raid boss in Borderlands 4. It provides information on how to find Bloom Reaper, recommended gear, combat mechanics, rewards, and tips.
1. 🎮 Bloom Reaper Introduction and How to Start
- ✅ Bloom Reaper is permanent content that is free for all players.
- ✅ To fight Bloom Reaper, go to the main hub area (e.g., Launchpad or Carkadia Bird) and find the new bounty board marked with an exclamation point on the map.
- ✅ In Carkadia, it's inside the building, on the back right.
- ✅ Click on the mission and accept and track it.
- ✅ You must complete the story to challenge Bloom Reaper.

2. 🗺️ Bloom Reaper Location and How to Get There
- ✅ The fastest way to get to the Bloom Reaper door is to go to the Lowrise Safe House in Tornage Field, then jump the gap and grab a vehicle to follow this path.
- ✅ Pass the enemies in this camp and jump over this fence, and you'll find the door to Bloom.
- ✅ The map is really beautiful, so take your time to enjoy it.
- ✅ Look for the K6 Easter egg on the wall as you pass the Safe Station.
- ✅ The mobs in this area are optional, but it's a good idea to do a DPS check to see if your build is suitable for the boss.

3. 🛡️ Recommended Gear for Bloom Reaper Battle
- ✅ Shield: What's For Dinner, Super Soldier Shield are the best. Fireworks is still a good choice for dealing with mobs in this area. Pandora and Memento are good choices because they provide resistance to the last damage type and 15% elemental resistance.
- ✅ Healing Kit: Triple Bypass and Kill Spring are the best. Kill Spring provides 100% of the excess damage dealt to the target upon kill as 4 healing orbs.
- ✅ Grenade: Purple Jacobs Critical Knife is the best.
- ✅ Weapons: Ceramic BOD, Chuck Assault Rifle, Dark Beast SMG, Wombo Combo, Convergent Shotgun, etc.

4. ⚔️ Bloom Reaper Combat Mechanics and Strategies
- ✅ When you enter the arena, go to the top platform to start the battle.
- ✅ Once the battle starts, break the crystals, shoot the orbs that appear after breaking the crystals, and watch out for the pulse spa on the floor.
- ✅ The pulse spa occurs three times, and on the fourth time, float in the air to avoid the knockback and damage.
- ✅ Once you break all the crystals and destroy the orbs, Bloom Reaper enters the first immunity phase.
- ✅ Reduce Bloom Reaper's health to 1/3.
- ✅ Don't stay in one place and stay in the air as much as possible.
- ✅ If Bloom Reaper attacks with a purple eye beam, move left and right to avoid the attack.
- ✅ If you fall off the platform, glide and look up to find a grapple point.
- ✅ When Bloom Reaper has 1/3 of its health left, it enters another immunity phase.

5. 🎁 Bloom Reaper Rewards and Farming
- ✅ Bloom Reaper has four exclusive drops: Mantra Malawan Shotgun, Jet Setter Heavy Ordnance Launcher, Urchin Grenade Ordnance, and Under Shield.
- ✅ If you defeat the boss on Ultimate 1 or higher, you will receive a chest room after passing through the portal on the top platform.
- ✅ If you complete the boss within 1 minute and 30 seconds, you will receive a guaranteed platinum bonus chest, the legendary sniper Rain Maker.
- ✅ This chest is also a great source of legendary enhancements that previously had no drop source.
- ✅ If you complete the boss within 3 minutes, you will receive 3 loot chests.
- ✅ If you complete it before the timer reaches 0, you will receive loot at the silver reward level.
- ✅ You don't have to play on Ultimate 5 or 6.
- ✅ You can farm Skillcraft Firmware on Ultimate 6.
