ARK: Survival Ascended - How to Tame the Gigantoraptor in Lost Colony and Complete Skill Guide
This video explains how to obtain and tame a Gigadesmodus on the Lost Colony map of ARK: Survival Ascended. The Gigadesmodus can only be obtained by defeating the Lost King boss. The video also covers its abilities, including the bite attack, spit attack, execution attack with the tail, and the ability to pick up smaller creatures.

4. 🥚 Claiming your Gigadesmodus egg

- 🏆 After defeating the Lost King and the Lost Queen in separate fights, you will ascend and receive a Gigadesmodus egg in your inventory.

6. 🐣 Hatching and raising the Gigadesmodus

7. 💪 Gigadesmodus stats and benefits
- ✅ The author's Gigadesmodus had 422 in melee attack and deals 800 damage from the start.
- 🩸 By consuming any corpse, you get meat, rotten meat, and blood packs.
- ❤️ You also get a small health regeneration.
- 🩸 The Gigadesmodus has a buff called blood sustenance, which means you gain 15% of all damage dealt as HP back on your mount, and the rider gains 5% as well.
- 🛡️ This, along with its large health pool, makes it very difficult to kill.

8. ⚔️ Gigadesmodus attacks and abilities
- ✅ The left mouse button is a regular bite attack that deals good damage.
- 🩸 By holding down the left mouse button and the left shift key, the Gigadesmodus performs a spit attack that deals really good damage, but can only be used a maximum of 20 times.
- 🛬 It also grounds flyers.

9. 💥 Execution attack and damage buff
- ✅ The Gigadesmodus also has an execution attack.
- 🪡 To use it, press C and it will use its tail to perform a piercing attack.
- 💪 If you are successful with the attack, you will get a 25% extra melee attack buff for 20 seconds.
- ❓ Not sure if the broken health icons indicate when to use the tail attack to get the buff.

10. 🐾 Other abilities and breeding
- ✅ Press the right mouse button while flying to pick up a creature.
- 🤏 It only seems to be able to pick up small or medium creatures.
- 🏃 Hold down the shift key when on the ground to sprint.
- 🥚 Not sure if everyone who does the boss fight with friends will get a Gigadesmodus egg.
- ❤️🔥 It is breathable, so you can breed it once you have a male and a female.

11. 📊 Random stats and night buff

- 🦇 There is a new bat icon that you will see at night.
- 🌙 It's a night hunter buff that increases your flight speed by 25% at night.
