This guide explains how to unlock the secret ending in Mio: Memories in Orbit, including the location and solution of the wheel puzzle, and how to obtain the Flowing Steps ability. It also confirms that both endings can be obtained in a single playthrough.

2. ⚙️ Location of the Wheel Finger
- ✅ After defeating the Hand, return to the network door in the laboratory.
- ✅ Above where you fought the Hand, you will find the wheel and a broken mechanical hand that is missing a finger.
- ✅ The missing finger is located below the vaults.
- ✅ To reach the finger, head through the vaults to the place where the Hand grabbed you for the first time and threw you into the pit.
- ✅ The finger is at the end of the pit, to the east.

3. 🧩 Wheel Puzzle Solution
- ✅ After finding the finger, return to the wheel in the laboratory to repair it.
- ✅ The wheel allows you to rotate the top of the ship in three positions: 240 (initial), 120 and 0.
- ✅ Steps to solve the puzzle:
- Turn the wheel to 0 and use the network door to send the Shattered Supervisor to the Vault Shuttle.
- Turn the wheel to 120. This aligns the top of the ship with the shuttle tube in the vaults.
- Platform up the shuttle tube (without shuttle). Use the Wall Cling ability of the Strider to save jumps.
- Activate the network door of the vault shuttle.
- Return to the wheel.
- ✅ Return the wheel to 240.
- ✅ Use the network door of the Vault Shuttle to access the Crucible.
- ✅ Complete the two platforming challenges in the Crucible to obtain the Flowing Steps ability.

4. 💧 Obtaining Flowing Steps and Accessing the Secret Final Boss
- ✅ Flowing Steps allows you to climb penumbra liquid.
- ✅ Head to the canopy through a secret passage in the bell tower at the top of Refuge.
- ✅ Climb the penumbra waterfall in the canopy using Flowing Steps to reach the library.
- ✅ In the library, use the elevator to the east to reach three levels.
- ✅ The third level activates the secret final boss of the game.
- ✅ Defeating the secret final boss allows you to see the true ending of Mio: Memories in Orbit.
