Terraria 1.4.5 All New Items Overview: Guide to Useful New Features
This video provides a guide to the new useful items added in the Terraria 1.4.5 update, excluding decorative and cosmetic items. It covers new armor, accessories, weapons, tools, mounts, and other items, as well as how to obtain them.
1. 🛡️ New Armor: Captain, Scout, and Chlorophyte Summoner Helmet Sets
- ✅ Two improved sets for hardmode have been added: Captain (for fisherman's armor) and Scout (for miner's armor).
- ✅ The sets do not enhance effects, but add protection.
- ✅ The Chlorophyte helmet is complemented by a helmet for the summoner.
- ⚠️ The Loon Lord's Breastplate is designed for Get fixed Boy mode.

2. ✨ New Accessories: Suspended Counterweight, Magic Thread, Yo-Yo Bag, Stress Ball, Ram Rune, and Dog Collars
- ✅ Suspended Counterweight: created from white thread and a counterweight, combines the effects of the thread and counterweight.
- ✅ Magic Thread: sold by the skeleton merchant, allows the yo-yo to detach and deal additional damage.
- ✅ Magic Yo-Yo Bag: combines the effects of the magic thread and yo-yo bag.
- ✅ Stress Ball: drops from the Goplet, allows the character to automatically perform actions while idle.
- ✅ Ram Rune: found in dungeon chests, allows you to deal damage while jumping by pressing the jump and down keys.
- ✅ Dog Collars: cosmetic, changes the character's voice when taking damage.

3. ⚔️ New Summoner Weapons: Spider, Slime Whips, Soul Scourge, Vasculaz, Star Wrath, Flower Pow, Electric Eel, Constellation, Obsession
- ✅ Spider Whip: created from cobwebs, the shortest and weakest, should summon spiders.
- ✅ Slime Whip: created from gel and hardener, applies the ignite debuff.
- ✅ Soul Scourge and Vasculaz: created from infection bars, Soul Scourge is longer, Vasculaz deals more damage.
- ✅ Star Wrath: crafted from meteorite bars, should summon meteorites.
- ✅ Flower Pow: drop from Plantera.
- ✅ Electric Eel: drops from Rebron, applies the electricity debuff.
- ✅ Constellation: crafted from stardust fragments, creates homing projectiles.
- ✅ Obsession: drops from the Moon Lord, the best whip, deals damage over a large area.

- ✅ Chilita Egg: found in dungeons, increases damage.
- ✅ Rollerskates: sold by the skeleton merchant and traveling merchant, for gliding.
- ✅ Mysterious Murderer Skull: created from amber fossil and stars, turns into a dinosaur.
- ✅ Cursed Flute: found in ivy chests, turns into a mouse, climbs walls.
- ✅ Enchanted Fairy Dust: drops from a fairy after defeating a mechanical boss, turns into a fairy.
- ✅ Amulet of Night: drops from a vampire, turns into a bat.
- ✅ Wall Walker Car: sold by the cyborg, rides on blocks and walls.

- ✅ Jungle Juice: new healing item from life fruit.
- ✅ Taste of the Torch God: changes torches to suit the biome.
- ✅ Infused Fertilizers: from ordinary fertilizer in shimmer, grows seedlings twice as large.
- ✅ Shimmer Pylon: cave pylon in shimmer.
- ✅ Flask of Alchemy: alchemy table in shimmer, increases the duration of potion effects.
- ✅ Lucky Clover: drops from grass, increases luck.
- ✅ Raven Feather: drop from a raven from the graveyard, reduces luck.
- ✅ Orb of Precognition: recipe from the guide, for observing other players.
