This guide details the steps necessary to complete the main mission "They're Here" in Escape from Tarkov, including locating key items, eliminating cultists, and interacting with the Mechanic.
1. 📝 Mission Start: Finding the "Note About the Eye of the World"

2. 📍 Locate a place connected to the Eye of the World in Lighthouse

- ✅ You will find a scene of murder or death of a cult.

3. 🔑 Find the key to the cult victim's apartment in Streets of Tarkov
- ✅ At the crime scene in Lighthouse, look for the key to the cult victim's apartment.
- ✅ The key has a 100% chance of spawning, unless another player has already taken it.
- ✅ Once you get the key, head to Streets of Tarkov, to an apartment located behind Stylobat.
- ✅ The apartment is near one of the player spawn areas, at the end of the street from the car extract.
- ✅ Inside the apartment, in the breach room, you will find two books or notebooks and a tape to listen to.

4. 💀 Neutralize two cultist priests: Locations and tips
- ✅ After talking to the Mechanic, you must eliminate two cultist priests.
- ✅ The cultists have the following spawn probabilities:

- ✅ It is recommended to avoid Customs due to the high concentration of players looking for cultists.
- ✅ Woods or Shoreline are safer alternatives.
- ✅ Cultists usually carry marked keys, which will allow you to access marked rooms to continue the mission.

5. 🗺️ Get more information about the Eye of the World: Note in marked rooms
- ✅ After killing the two cultist priests, you must find a note in a marked room.
- ✅ The note can appear in rooms RBBK or VO in Reserve, or in Mark 314 in Customs.
- ✅ Collect the note to advance in the mission.

6. 👁️🗨️ Locate the places marked with the Eye of the World in Lighthouse, Woods and Shoreline
- ✅ Lighthouse: Find a note in the lower chalet, in the first room on the right with a balcony and a slate with cult symbols. You must also obtain the key located on the ATV near the garage.
- ✅ Woods: In the sunken village, enter a building and collect the newspaper clippings inside.
- ✅ Shoreline: Go to the small radar tower (near the communication tower). Go down the hill from the nearby cabin and read the note from the dead body. Then, return to the tower with a toolkit and repair it (takes 60 seconds).

7. 📡 Station 14-4 KORD in Interchange: Get the pass and complete the tasks
- ✅ After completing the tasks in Lighthouse, Woods and Shoreline, return to the Mechanic.
- ✅ The Mechanic will give you the ability to create a pass (takes 6 hours without crafting at the highest level).
- ✅ With the pass, go to Interchange and bring a USB flash drive.
- ✅ At the power station, turn on the power and enter the new room with a staircase that goes down.
- ✅ Use the pass to open the door, flip the switch in the cooling room, and place the USB flash drive on the servers for 30 seconds.
- ✅ Collect the tape from the safe that opens, listen to it and extract from the map.
- ✅ Return to Interchange, turn on the power and read the note that mentions the button under the desk.
- ✅ Press the button, collect the USB flash drive from the server and extract from the map.
- ✅ Deliver the USB flash drive to the Mechanic to receive a document and complete the "They're Here" mission.

8. 💰 Additional loot area in the KORD Station
- ✅ The underground area of the KORD Station contains valuable loot, such as information and computers to loot.
- ✅ It is recommended to complete this mission soon to have access to this additional loot area in Interchange.
