Blue Fire Main Quest Guide in Escape from Tarkov (1.0)
This guide details the necessary steps to complete the Blue Fire questline in Escape from Tarkov, including the location of key items, interactions with NPCs, and specific actions on different maps.
1. 📝 Blue Fire Quest Start: Requirements and Initial Locations
- ✅ To start the Blue Fire quest, you must have the Mechanic unlocked and be able to interact with him.
- ✅ You can start the quest in Woods or Interchange.
- ✅ In Woods, look for a shipping container at the FOB medical camp, near the RUAF extract. Inside, you will find a paper in a medical cabinet that starts the quest.
- ✅ In Interchange, there are three possible locations: outside of EMERCOM, in front of the mall (old cooperative extract) in a medical store, or near the New section also in a medical store. Look for a flyer in each location.

- ✅ Check 13: Requires the Check 13 marked key. Inside, you will find the unknown device fragment.
- ✅ LexOs: After killing Kaban, you will get the key to the closed section of the car dealership. Open the caged area and you will find the object, which looks like a giant mechanical star.

4. 💻 Obtaining the Hacking Device and Planting it in the Labs Server Room
- ✅ You will need the local network hacking device, which you can obtain by mail or through barter.
- ✅ Head to the server room in Labs, located on the first floor, near the black keycard room.
- ✅ Plant the device on the left side when entering, for 60 seconds.
- ✅ After planting the device, you will have the option to hand over the unknown device fragment to the Mechanic for 1.5 million rubles or keep it.
- ✅ Keeping the object will give you the "Better Served" achievement and does not affect the main story.

5. 📚 Searching for Clues About Object 1156: Ground Zero, Labs, and Lighthouse
- ✅ To find clues about object 1156, you have three options: Ground Zero, Labs, or Lighthouse.
- ✅ Ground Zero: Collect the TerraGroup office key from the dead scientist at the start of the mission. The object will be in a notebook on the desk to the right as you enter.
- ✅ Labs: From the central yellow dome, head to the two glass offices. In the office on the right, you will find a folder with a paper on the desk.
- ✅ Lighthouse: In the lower bunker, on the ground floor, look for a bookshelf in the center. The object will be on the bookshelf.

6. ✉️ Investigation in the Rus Post Office on Streets of Tarkov
- ✅ Head to Streets of Tarkov and enter the post office (Rus Post).
- ✅ Carry the recorder in your secure container to listen to the tapes immediately.
- ✅ Find three tapes: one next to the dead scav in the center, another in the corner near LexOs on the water dispenser, and the third in a new office to the left before entering the main office.
- ✅ The Rus Post car key appears behind the blue van at the front of the post office, behind the right rear tire.
- ✅ Open the van to get the last piece of paper needed.
- ✅ Listen to all the tapes and read all the documents. If it doesn't complete immediately, listen to the tapes again and check the van.
