Lorenz Butterfly is a new Afterglow mechanic support and sub-DPS character in Version 3.5. She is a core component that significantly raises the ceiling of existing Beryl Afterglow teams, replacing Flutter Page to boost final damage output. All of Lorenz Butterfly's Incantations have a unique mechanism where their rank increases based on the number of cards of the same Incantation type in the action zone. If an Afterglow character doesn't use an Incantation, they gain Moxie, and Afterglow characters' Incantation cards do not count towards the hand limit, contributing to cycle optimization. Her Ultimate, Unpredictable Dynamic System, grants consecutive actions for 1 turn and allows you to select 1 basic Incantation to copy 3 copies of it into your hand at the start of the next turn, a powerful effect. 📈 Incantation Rank: Incantation rank increases based on the number of cards of the same type in the action zone. 🔄 Ultimate Usage: Copies a basic Incantation, allowing it to be used next turn without consuming action points. 🔥 Afterglow Synergy: Gains Moxie and hand management benefits when paired with Afterglow characters.

While Lorenz Butterfly raises the ceiling of Beryl Afterglow teams, her usage difficulty increases, which might lead to some inconvenience. With Lorenz's cycle added to Beryl's, there are more aspects to manage. Lorenz's fixed damage scales with other characters' damage, so it must be synchronized with Beryl's burst damage cycle. Card merging and cycle management are required, making her fun for manual players, but her efficiency can significantly drop during auto-play. ⚠️ Operation Difficulty: Cycle management with Beryl is crucial, making her suitable for manual play. 📉 Auto Efficiency: Damage efficiency can significantly decrease during auto-play. 🎯 Damage Linkage: Fixed damage increases proportionally to the damage output of allied DPS characters like Beryl.

In Version 3.5, the meta environment has significantly changed with the introduction of Lorenz Butterfly. Lorenz is evaluated as an EX Rank support and an SSS Rank sub-DPS, greatly boosting the ratings of various characters such as Balloon Party, Marcus, and Spathiphyllum. She has established herself as a core component of the strongest versatile formation alongside Isolde and Marsha, boasting high versatility that allows her to be used in 20th Century teams or Poison teams. 👑 Tier Rating: Top-tier with EX for Support and SSS for Sub-DPS. 🚀 Meta Shift: Significantly increased the output of various compositions, including Balloon Party. 🌐 High Versatility: Can be adopted into various teams even though she is not an Afterglow character.

In Version 3.5, 20th Century, Heron, An An, and Beryl have been selected as main DPS characters in the EX Rank, while Marsha has secured the EX Rank as the undisputed strongest healer. For concept components, Lilya, Tooth Fairy, Horropedia, and Isolde are evaluated as EX Tier in specific compositions. Notably, Hyperion remains a powerful SSS Rank healer, showing strong performance in high-difficulty content with her high durability and crowd control removal abilities. 🌟 EX DPS: 20th Century, Heron, An An, and Beryl are the strongest DPS characters for each main origin. 💖 Strongest Healer: Marsha is an EX Rank healer with overwhelming performance. 🛡️ High-Difficulty Healer: Hyperion is SSS Rank, providing essential durability in high-difficulty content.

Lorenz Butterfly's Insight efficiency is not as overwhelmingly significant as Beryl or Voyage. Insight I increases the duration of the Incantation's consecutive action buff from 1 turn to 2 turns, making Lorenz's cycle easier to manage. Insight II increases the number of Incantations copied from 3 to 4, and from 4 to 5, which primarily enhances the feeling of spamming spells. ⏳ Insight I: The duration of the Incantation's consecutive action buff increases from 1 turn to 2 turns. 🃏 Insight II: The number of copied Incantations increases, allowing more skills to be used. 💡 Feel over Efficiency: Focuses more on play convenience and fun rather than raw performance improvement.
