· 'Overlapping' is a building method that utilizes a bug to overcome building limitations in Doki Doki Town.
· It is useful when item placement is difficult within the game.

· When installing a window where there's a floor, it usually shows up red and cannot be placed.
· In such cases, you can use the overlapping technique to temporarily move the floor and install the window.

Step	Details
Step 1	Select the item blocking the item you want to install (e.g., floor blocking a window).
Step 2	Move the selected item to an unbuildable area (marked in red).
Step 3	Press and hold the checkmark icon on the screen, then drag it to the eye icon without releasing the mouse.
Step 4	Quickly double-click the eye icon.
Success	If the blocking item floats in the air, it's a success.
Failure	If the item returns to its original position, it's a failure, so don't panic and try again.
Finish	After installing the desired item, press 'Complete' and reload the blueprint.

· **Overlapping Mirrors and Hangers**: When a hanger prevents you from placing a mirror, you can temporarily move the hanger using the overlapping technique to install the mirror. The installed mirror can be used normally.
· **Floating Cupboards**: Cupboards, originally only placeable on the floor, can be floated in the air. Install a pillar, use a floor that won't be removed as a temporary support, and then use the overlapping technique to float it in the air. Place the cupboard on top, then remove the pillar.
· **Caution**: If you delete the temporary support (floor), the cupboard placed on it will also disappear, so be careful.
· **Creating Display Cases**: If you want to add a door in front of a display case, and a floor is obstructing the door installation, you can temporarily move the floor using the overlapping technique to install the door.

· If you want to fill your table with food but item interference makes placement difficult, use the overlapping technique.
· Temporarily move an already placed food item (e.g., pie) using the overlapping technique, then place a new food item (e.g., cheesecake).
· Repeat this method to fill your table abundantly.

· **Installing Floating Lights**: Erect a pillar, bring a wall as a temporary support, and use the overlapping technique. Install the light on the wall, then remove the pillar, and the light will float in the air.
· If using a low wall as a support, you can install a new floor to make the low wall unbuildable, then apply the overlapping technique.
· **Adding Windows to the Roof**: Install a pillar, bring a wall to act as a support, and use the overlapping technique to float it in the air. Attach a window to that wall to install a window on the roof.

· If you want to install a fence on a wall, a floor is required for fence placement.
· Install a pillar, bring a floor as a temporary support, and use the overlapping technique to float it in the air.
· Install the fence on the floating floor, extend it sideways, then remove the pillar to complete the fence on the wall.

· You can add a wooden wall decoration as a border to a plain gazebo to create a special atmosphere.
· To install the wooden wall decoration, a wall acting as a support is needed. Use a wall and a floor to position the temporary support wall.
· Use the overlapping technique to float the temporary support wall in the air, then install the wooden wall decoration on it.
· Remove unnecessary supports and floors to complete the gazebo border decoration.
