Core Keeper 1.2: Fully Automatic Dodo Farm Build GuideThis guide introduces how to build an efficient automated Dodo farm in Core Keeper to reliably supply Dodo eggs for cooking. You'll learn a detailed process to integrate it into your existing farm system, automating everything from critter feeding to egg collection.
Core Keeper 1.2: Fully Automatic Dodo Farm Build Guide
1. 🎮 Why Do We Need an Automated Dodo Farm?
· Build an automated Dodo farm to ensure a stable supply of Dodo eggs for cooking.
· Maximize efficiency by integrating the Dodo farm into your existing crop, critter, and fishing farm systems.

1. 🎮 Why Do We Need an Automated Dodo Farm?
· Build an automated Dodo farm to ensure a stable supply of Dodo eggs for cooking.
· Maximize efficiency by integrating the Dodo farm into your existing crop, critter, and fishing farm systems.

2. 🛠️ Preparations: Essential Items for an Automated Farm
· The main materials required for building an automated Dodo farm are as follows:
CategoryDetails
CrittersWorms (replace with 'Many Legs' or 'Little Death' critters in desert biomes)
Dodo Eggs
Several Dodos
Automation Equipment3 Robot Arms
1 Item Collector
1 Conveyor Belt Splitter
1 Feeder
OtherMany Fences
Power Generator
Some Wires

3. 💡 Important! Critter Filter Settings by Biome
· In desert biomes, 'Many Legs' or 'Little Death' critters spawn instead of 'Worms'.
· Therefore, when setting the filter for your critter farm, you must select the appropriate critters for that biome.
· Since you cannot set two types of critters simultaneously for all filters, it is recommended to mix them appropriately or distribute them, for example, giving 'Little Death' to Dodos and 'Many Legs' to fish.

4. 🏗️ Step-by-Step Farm Construction: Placement and Fence Installation
· Robot Arm and Splitter Placement (02:06)
· Install the first Robot Arm to catch critters.
· Place a Conveyor Belt Splitter directly behind the Robot Arm and set it to split left and right.
· Install a second Robot Arm below to circulate critters back into the fishing system.
· Install a third Robot Arm above and to the right of the splitter to catch critters for the Dodos.

· Feeder, Power, and Item Collector Placement (03:11)
· Set the Feeder horizontally, with its left end on the tile directly above the second Robot Arm.
· Install a Power Generator directly above the right Robot Arm for power supply.
· Install an Item Collector directly above the Power Generator, with the arrow pointing upwards. The Item Collector collects items within a 5x5 range.

· Wire Connection (03:56)
· Connect wires between the Item Collector and the left Robot Arm to supply power to both devices.

· Fence Installation (04:13)
· Install fences within the Item Collector's 5x5 collection range to prevent Dodos from escaping.
· The fences create a 3x3 space, allowing Dodos to move safely.
04:46 - 05:38
5. ⚙️ Automation System: The Entire Process of Dodo Egg Production
· Critters set in the filter (e.g., 'Little Death' or 'Many Legs' in desert biomes) are caught by the Robot Arm.
· The caught critters move to the Feeder and become food for the Dodos.
· Dodos eat the critters and lay Dodo eggs.
· The laid Dodo eggs are automatically collected by the Item Collector.
· The collected Dodo eggs are discharged onto the Power Generator tile, and a Robot Arm picks them up and sends them back onto the conveyor belt, integrating them into the overall automation system.
