1. 🎮 Starting Underwater War Room Construction & Using Templates
· This video covers how to build an underwater war room with everything you need.
· All methods shown are also applicable to regular war rooms and are especially useful in a VAC environment.
· You can use various templates to save construction time.
00:20 - 01:07
2. 🏗️ Setting Up VAC Section & Foundation Work
· First, build a 6x6 VAC section. Only one floor is possible, but two floors are recommended for aesthetics.
· All portals must be open. To save time, it's best to use a template with all portals already open.
· When using a template, place one VAC where desired, then snap the template to it for automatic construction.
· Once the VAC is installed, hide and lock all frames to prevent further editing.
· Adjust the snap points to lower the VAC to a height where foundations can be added. Foundations should be sufficiently high off the ground.
01:08 - 03:35
3. 🧊 Preparing Cryo-Fridge and Tek Trough Placement
· Use a template to install the floor for cryo-fridges and daddy boxes (or Tek troughs).
· It's okay if the highest foundation isn't installed, as long as the bottom two are connected.
· Raise the connected foundations back up to set the appropriate height for cryo-fridges and Tek troughs.
· Lay out the facilities that will be placed under the war room. For example, create two rows for cryo-fridges.
· Raise the connections for Tek troughs (or daddy boxes). If you're not burying daddy boxes, set them to the same height as Tek troughs.
· Add quarter ceilings to the corners to ensure connection to the original structure. This will align with the VAC line and connect later.
· Use the 'debug structures' command to check the connection status of structures.
· Once connected, even if all temporary connecting structures are destroyed, all parts will remain floating, connected to the original structure.
03:36 - 05:10
4. 🛠️ Filling the Floor & Installing Tek Troughs
· Before filling the floor, cryo-fridges and daddy boxes should be placed first. Tek troughs can be placed later, but it's better to place them beforehand as they might be blocked by the floor.
· After filling the floor, leave holes for vault floors and cryo-fridges.
· When installing Tek troughs, use the 'leather trick' to align them precisely.
· You can perfectly place 7 Tek troughs in three ceiling holes.
· Disable snap functionality to place them in the exact position.
05:11 - 06:54
5. 💰 Building Vault Floors & Creating Snap Points
· For the vault floor, lower the snap points back down to connect to the foundations and the floor.
· Use the 'lower for vault' template to install bottom foundations on the existing grid.
· Raise the connections back up to the desired height. Use quarter walls to find the precise height.
· Check if the height is appropriate for placing vaults.
· To create snap points for the vault floor, install double doorframes facing downwards on the existing floor.
· Attach railings to the ceiling floor to create snap points. These railings will connect to the double doorframes and the ceiling.
· Once the connection is confirmed, destroy all temporary connecting structures.
06:55 - 09:20
6. 📦 Perfect Vault Floors & Daddy Box Installation
· Use Shza's template to create perfect vault floors. This template fills straw walls and ceilings simultaneously.
· Once all debris is gone, a perfect vault floor is complete. Repeat this process for all walls.
· After the floor and vaults are installed, install the daddy boxes.
· Disable snap points and use camo to perfectly align the daddy boxes.
· Install daddy boxes 2x6 in size and 3 stories high. You can add a 4th row with a slight offset above them.
· Use pillars to create floating pillars above the daddy boxes.
· Look at the pillar and place the daddy box so it doesn't snap and shows green. This daddy box will disappear later.
· Remove the pillar walls, pick up the daddy box, then enable snap and move away from the pillar.
· When the pillar is removed, the temporary daddy box disappears, but other daddy boxes snapped to it remain. Install other daddy boxes by snapping them this way.
09:21 - 10:24
7. 🚨 VAC Damage Recovery Method
· If you accidentally destroy a VAC, you cannot place a new VAC and open portals because it will be blocked by ceilings or troughs.
· Other VACs can be opened, unlocked, and frames hidden normally, but the blocked part won't disappear.
· To fix this, use a template called 'fix ve open'. This template saves an open VAC.
· Place and cancel the template, and a VAC with open portals will be installed.
· Unlock all, hide frames, and then lock again to repair the damaged hole.
10:25 - 11:36
8. 🔋 Installing Tek Mega Lab, Transmitter, and Additional Daddy Boxes
· Install a Tek Mega Lab for battery charging. To do this, install double doorframes and use a Tek door.
· This can also be used for transmitter installation.
· Install thin pillars and make them transparent. These pillars will remain transparent while open.
· Install the transmitter and Tek Mega Lab on top of the pillars. Snap functionality must be enabled.
· Install a 4-story high daddy box wall and add floating daddy boxes.
11:37 - 14:05
9. 🛡️ Side Vaults & Final War Room Completion
· Use the bunker build template to install side vaults.
· The template snaps to the floor. Add ceiling connections and wall connections, and place a ceiling below to secure more connections.
· Raise one wall and use a ceiling again to place the last wall.
· Attach the vaults to the war room. They might not align perfectly, but following the rule that 5.5 ceilings match 8 vaults will result in better alignment.
· When dropping vaults, the bottom row should be dropped first, then the top row.
· This process perfectly installs triple-stacked walls, and the water behind the VAC appears blue, creating a beautiful visual effect.
· Applying this to both sides completes a neat and functional underwater war room.
· The finished war room features cryo-fridges and vaults on the floor, triple-stacked walls, a floating transmitter, and a quadruple-stacked daddy box drop.
· You can omit the top row to save resources and structure limits. The transmitter will be slightly submerged, but it's not a major issue.
