· The Bastion Beetle is a creature added by the 'TAC Bastion Beetle' mod, created by Tristan.
· This creature has appeared in official community polls for years but never won, and can now be found through a mod.
· All variants have the same attack method and can be chosen based on aesthetic preference. The Aberrant variant, in particular, glows in the dark.
· Bastion Beetles are capable of flight and can be equipped with powerful weapons.

· Bastion Beetles cannot be tamed in the usual way; you must find larvae in the wild.
· Larvae can spawn in all areas except snow biomes or underwater, but they are small and difficult to find.
· Tip: Using the 'Dino Finder' mod or turning off foliage settings can make larvae easier to find.
· Before interacting with a larva, it's recommended to prepare good armor and weapons, and clear out dangerous dinosaurs in the vicinity.
· Place a Sweet Vegetable Cake in hotbar slot 0, approach the larva, and press 'E' to feed it.
· When fed, the larva will shoot silk like a spiderweb, slowing the player and applying an 'Ammonite Debuff' that causes nearby creatures to attack.
· If you accidentally attack the larva or other nearby larvae during taming, that larva will no longer eat, so you must leave the area and return.
· Once taming is complete, press 'E' to quickly pick up the larva and protect it safely.

· Wearing a larva around your neck grants a 'Bug Repellent Buff', making it harder for bugs to detect you.
· Setting the larva to wander mode will passively generate Silk in its inventory over time.
· When on your shoulder or on the ground, it can shoot silk to slow targets.

· To evolve a larva into an adult Bastion Beetle, you must feed it Amber.
· Amber unlocks at level 45, and there are a total of 8 types.
· Craft the Amber that matches your desired variant and gender (female/male).
· Place the crafted Amber into the larva's inventory, right-click the Amber, and select 'Consume' to evolve the larva into an adult beetle.

· Female Bastion Beetles differ from males not only in appearance but also in their saddles and attachable firearms.
· Saddles unlock at level 45, and firearm attachments unlock at level 80.

· The female's weapon can only be fired while stationary on the ground.
· It uses 120mm rounds as ammunition, crafted 10 at a time in a fabricator.
· If placing the beetle in a Cryopod, be sure to take its attachments and ammunition.

· Male Bastion Beetles have the same bash attack and hunker down abilities as females.
· Firearm attachments unlock at level 65.

· It uses Advanced Rifle Bullets as ammunition.

· Defeating wild regular Bastion Beetles can yield Amber, which can be fed to larvae.
· Bastion Beetles reduce the weight of all items in their inventory by 50%.
· You can stand on the beetle in the air, and (at least on the back of a female beetle) you can use weapons.
· All variants of Bastion Beetles can breed with each other and lay eggs.
· To evolve a baby beetle into an adult, it must first grow into a larva, and the larva's favorite food is Berries.
