Wuthering Waves Endgame Matrix S1 Complete Strategy Guide: High Score Secrets and Motorcycle Skin Acquisition Guide
1. 🎮 End Matrix: Introducing New High-Difficulty Content
· The End Matrix is Wuthering Waves' most challenging periodic content, where character development and the depth of your character pool are crucial.
· This mode features only Cost 4 large bosses, with no regular mobs.
· The End Matrix is divided into two modes: 'Stability Protocol' and 'Singularity Expansion.'
· Stability Protocol: You must defeat 4 bosses using a maximum of 3 different teams, with each team having a 2-minute combat time limit. Characters, excluding healers, cannot be reused, but healers can be used up to 2 times. Weapons and Echoes are also locked after a character uses them and cannot be used by other characters.
· Singularity Expansion: Unlocked after clearing Stability Protocol. There is no team limit, but character, weapon, and Echo usage restrictions are the same as in Stability Protocol. The goal is to achieve a high score, with a minimum of 4 teams each reaching 5000 points, for a total of 21000 points or more.
· End Matrix unlock conditions are Tower of Adversity 24 stars or more, and Depths of Illusive Realm last floor 3500 points or more.

2. 📈 Character Development Guide for Achieving 5000 Points
· The difficulty of developing characters to achieve 5000 points is not as high as you might think.
· Main DPS Development Criteria: 0-chain signature weapon, sufficient Resonance Efficiency, double crit sub-stats on all Echoes, character level 90, core skills maxed.
· Team Composition: A main DPS meeting the above criteria + dedicated sub-DPS + any healer (e.g., Verina, Guardian) combination has the potential for 5000 points.
· Example: A Coretta + Template Jueji + Verina team can achieve approximately 5000 points or more, even if this season's buffs are not particularly favorable to Coretta.
· A Sanli + Template Yinlin + Guardian team without a signature weapon can also approach 5000 points.
· Template characters have lower stats other than Resonance Efficiency, so if you have a self-developed sub-DPS, it's better to use your own character.
· If you have a complete team with properly developed sub-DPS, the 5000-point goal can be achieved without much difficulty.

3. 💡 Key Strategies and Buff Selection for High Scores
· Here are 4 key tips for achieving higher scores at the same development level.
· 1. Check Boss Resistances:
· End Matrix bosses have elemental resistances just like regular field bosses (e.g., Yunxiao has Electro resistance).
· Attacking with a team of that element will reduce damage by half, making it disadvantageous for score acquisition, so you must consider the boss's resistance when deploying teams.
· Especially if your development level is high or the boss's HP is low, it's crucial to check the resistances of the next 1-2 bosses in advance.
· Boss resistances can be directly checked in the interface before combat begins.
· 2. Buff Selection Caution:
· Specific buffs like 'Anomalous Effect Enhancement' are not beneficial for all anomalous effect characters.
· This season's 'Anomalous Effect Enhancement' provides additional benefits only to the Jinhua team, and is less efficient than 'Universal Enhancement' for other anomalous effect teams like the Katia team.
· If your team does not primarily use AoE damage, 'Anomalous Effect Enhancement' will only provide the effect 'When a character applies an anomalous effect, the target takes 20% increased final damage'.
· This is the same as 'Universal Enhancement's' 'unconditionally applies 20% increased final damage taken to all team members at all times,' and 'Universal Enhancement' also provides an additional '20% increased final damage taken from heavy attacks' effect.
· Therefore, unless a specific buff perfectly aligns with a character's mechanics, it is generally better to choose 'Universal Enhancement'.
· Recommended Buffs for This Season:
CategoryDetails
Anomalous Effect EnhancementRecommended only for Jinhua teams (main DPS Phoebe primarily uses heavy attacks, so Universal Enhancement is recommended)
Echo Skill EnhancementRecommended for Sigrid teams, Gabriella-Chuyuan teams
If Gabriella is paired with Motfi, Yuno, or Lupa, heavy attack combos are better, so Universal Enhancement is recommended
Harmony Break EnhancementRecommended only for Lin, Amyth (Vibration Mode), Lux teams
If Amyth is in Burst Mode and Lin is not present, Universal Enhancement is recommended

4. ⚔️ Utilizing Boss-Specific Mechanisms and Team Deployment Strategies
· 3. Deploy Stronger Teams in Later Rounds:
· In Singularity Expansion, enemies gain 10 levels each round, which not only increases their HP but also their defense, reducing your team's damage output and affecting score acquisition.
· Therefore, it is more stable for score acquisition to deploy characters with relatively lower development levels in earlier rounds and stronger teams in later rounds.
· Deploying strong teams later prevents high-multiplier single-target damage, like Amyth's ultimate, from excessively damaging bosses with low remaining HP, thus avoiding score loss.
· 4. Utilize Boss-Specific Buff/Debuff Effects:
· After defeating a boss, all team members receive damage immunity and stagger immunity for 15 seconds, allowing for stable combo attacks.
· Boss-Specific Effects:
BossSpecial EffectUsage Tip
Unfettered RemnantWhen character HP is above half, final damage taken increases by 10%Deal high damage to gain more points
Treasure Chest MonsterGain 1.1x points when dealing damageVery advantageous for score acquisition, no special resistances
Nameless Explorer'Gathering Interference' stack limit and accumulation speed increase
Final damage taken increases based on Gathering stacks
Beneficial for Gathering system characters like Lux
JinxiWhen hit by an Echo skill, final damage taken increases by 10% (max 5 stacks)
At 5 stacks, final damage taken further increases by 30%
Same Echo can only trigger once
Beneficial for characters that provide additional Echo skills, such as Chuyuan, Cantarella
Katia-Xiaokong teams may be at a disadvantage due to fewer Echo skill types, so it's better to equip Xiaokong with 'Nightmare Kelpie,' Fengzhu with 'Bell Turtle,' or other Echoes, or avoid Jinxi

5. 🎁 Unlocking Motorcycle Skins and Challenge Strategies
· The motorcycle skin is unlocked upon acquiring 400 Sealed Data.
· This challenge is a periodic reward spanning 3 versions (3 seasons of End Matrix).
· Repeatable Missions (Resets Each Season):
MissionStrategy Tip
Defeat Treasure Chest Monster 1 timeAutomatically completed through normal play
Defeat 8 enemiesAutomatically completed through normal play
2 teams defeat 2 enemies after Round 2Recommended to focus on after achieving high scores
Can be easily completed by leaving the previous boss with 1 HP bar, then switching to the next team to defeat 2 bosses.

· Completing these 3 repeatable missions each season will grant a total of 420 data, allowing you to unlock the skin.
· Challenge Missions (Can only be completed once per season):
MissionStrategy Tip
Achieve 4000 points in a single battle with an Enhanced ResonatorThere are a total of 6 Enhanced Resonators (existing characters with buffs), and their performance is good after enhancement.
Can be achieved by tackling the Treasure Chest Monster or deploying them in the 3rd slot of a highly developed team.
Achieve 5000 points in a single battle without taking damageUnfettered Remnant is recommended as its attack patterns are easy to dodge.
Defeat the previous boss with only 1 HP bar remaining to utilize the 15-second invincibility, then slowly tackle Unfettered Remnant.
It's also good to tackle the Treasure Chest Monster with shield characters like Chixia, Brant. The Treasure Chest Monster's attacks are hard to dodge but deal low damage, so they can be blocked by shields, and damage blocked by shields does not affect the mission.
Achieve 11 million Echo Skill damage in a single battleIf you don't have 0-chain Sigrid, this is a very difficult mission for average players, so it can be ignored.
There is currently no function to check your highest Echo Skill damage, making it difficult to know if you've achieved the goal.
