Detailed information about the Araneo TLC update has been released through ARK Community Crunch 502. This creature, selected by player vote, is set to be completely reimagined in terms of movement, hunting methods, and its role within the ARK ecosystem. The goal is not just a TLC, but to make the Araneo, which was previously underutilized, actively used by players. New saddle designs, enhanced movement abilities, and the ability to play from new perspectives are expected, with a particular focus on strengthening its web-based movement and hunting capabilities. Additionally, it's anticipated to offer strategic gameplay with abilities that leave fewer traces when hunting and the option to gain buffs by staying in specific areas. This is expected to introduce new hunting methods within ARK.

The buildable areas for PvP caves on the Lost Colony server have been significantly reduced. Caves that PvP players could previously build in have been scaled down to a size barely passable by a Stego. This suggests that Sapphire Cascade may emerge as a new PvP cave base. Wildcard has announced that these changes will take effect after the April 27th patch, and existing structures in caves will be destroyed. While the debate over PvP cave building continues, there are also opinions that sufficient PvP-suitable caves should be provided on all maps. Meanwhile, regarding the recent player and item data loss issues during server transfers, Wildcard explained that the problem was caused by intermittent interruptions in cloud data services and stated they are providing a new form for recovery and working to prevent recurrence.

The release of the new version of ARK: Survival of the Fittest is delayed. It was originally scheduled for release at the end of the first quarter, but there has been no official announcement from the developer, Studio Siren, so far. However, information gathered through the official Discord indicates that development is ongoing and it has been confirmed that the project has not been canceled. Wildcard recognizes the need to provide sufficient PvP-suitable caves on all future maps, and this will be continuously considered along with changes in the game's meta.
