Who are the new Brawlers being added in this update?
This update introduces a total of three unique new Brawlers. The first is 'Damien', scheduled for release in April. He's a heavy metal-style Brawler whose normal attack pushes enemies back and deals area damage with a burn effect. His special attack, 'Mosh Pit', summons a speaker to fight alongside him. The second is 'Star Nova', set for a May release, conceptualized as a comic studio employee. Her normal attack fires two projectiles, and when using her special attack, she dashes forward, transforming into a stronger version that uses a sword. Finally, 'Volt', due in June, is a giant ball Brawler who dreams of being a race car. His normal attack's damage increases with speed, and his special attack grants acceleration, leaving a trail that deals damage.
What changes are being made to the shop system?
The shop is getting a modern overhaul, with a dedicated space for 'Juju'. After the update, Bling will no longer be usable in the catalog and will only be available on the Brawler screen. Instead, the 'Bizarre Shop' will feature bundles where you can purchase Mythic and Legendary skins, cosmetic items, drops, or boxes with Bling. These bundles will have a random discount (0%-100%), meaning you might even get them for free. While the methods for acquiring Bling remain largely the same, the probability of obtaining skins from drops and boxes will decrease. In return, you'll be able to earn more Bling from Mega Quests, the free track of the Brawl Pass, and daily items in the Bizarre Shop.
What is the information regarding the skin rarity system and new skins?
The skin rarity system is being changed, and player icons, sprays, and pins associated with skins will be removed. Mythic skins will gain a visual effect for takedowns, and Legendary skins will have visual effects for both takedowns and spawns. During the Star Patrol season, various skins will be released, including Star Patrol Spike, Void Colette, and Star Patrol Juju. Additionally, during the Brawl Strikers season, skins like Super Ball Gene and Super Ball Carl will be released, along with Adidas collaboration skins. You'll also be able to get My Hero Academia collaboration skins such as All Might El Primo and Shigaraki Tomura Gus.
Tell us about the new game modes and changes to existing modes.
A new game mode, 'Star Patrol', is being added. In this mode, picking up crystals will transform you into Star Patrol Girl or Spike, and you can enjoy a 5v1 boss battle against bosses like Void Pinky and Void Colette. Furthermore, the 'Super Ball' game mode will run alongside the Brawl Strikers and Adidas collaborations. Goalkeepers can be defeated, and holding down the attack button will charge the ball for a longer shot. In Brawl Ball and Hockey modes, the movement logic for the ball and hockey puck will be changed to fix anomalies.
What are the buff and Hypercharge changes for specific Brawlers?
Star Powers and Gadgets for some Brawlers, including Griff, Colette, and Edgar, will be buffed. For Griff, his 'Chaching' Star Power will have an increased attack range and add a coin trail, while his 'Ball Recovery' Star Power will heal HP with his special attack. Colette's 'Push It' Gadget will fire a projectile that pierces through walls and Brawlers, and her 'Mass Tax' Star Power will make her dash faster. Edgar's 'Fly High' Gadget will increase his speed upon hitting an enemy, and his 'Hardcore' Star Power will grant immunity to crowd control. Nani's Hypercharge will spawn double the amount of 'Peep' drones, which will move independently and leave poison trails.
What are the improvements to game convenience and the reporting system?
Various improvements are being made to enhance game convenience. The reporting system has been improved: players will receive a warning upon reporting in Trophy Games and Competitive modes, and repeated offenses will result in a timeout. A favorites feature will be added to the friend list, and you'll receive notifications when friends come online. Additionally, the friend screen will receive visual improvements and a memo function. The favorites and new friend screens are expected to be released later in the update.
Is there any information on events and rewards related to the update?
Various events and rewards are planned alongside the update. The Brawl Cup will be held from May 15th to 17th, featuring a match prediction event. On May 14th, free Hypercharges and cosmetic items will be distributed. Furthermore, Prestige Battle Cards will be added for 100 and 200 Prestige levels.
