· Green Hell realistically simulates survival in a harsh jungle environment. The need to learn everything without a guide, gradual understanding through the laptop system, and tense nights and storytelling are impressive. While it can be difficult and frustrating, the immersion is outstanding.

· Bellwright is fun for reclaiming territory and building settlements. Its beautiful medieval setting, steady progression, and management elements are charming, but early combat and lack of system explanations are minor drawbacks.
· Necesse offers consistent fun by balancing exploration, combat, and settlement management. Exploring diverse biomes, responsive combat, and interconnected systems are its strengths, excelling in both solo and co-op play.
· V Rising combines combat and survival systems with a vampire theme. Unlocking abilities through boss fights, managing sunlight and blood, and the fun of building and upgrading your castle are well-integrated with the theme. However, resource gathering and crafting can be a bit slow.
· The Planet Crafter has an engaging long-term goal of terraforming a dead planet. Watching the planet change through increased oxygen, temperature, and pressure is highly satisfying, with visible progress. However, some unclear systems might slow down progression.

· Icarus offers a unique mission-based loop. Gathering resources and completing objectives while avoiding harsh weather and dangerous wildlife is fresh, and progression through blueprints and talents adds consistency. However, death penalties and some balance issues can be a bummer.
· The Long Dark provides an experience of survival in extreme environments. You must manage everything from temperature, hunger, thirst, and fatigue, with tension amplified in its quiet atmosphere. Learning through experience without a guide and the pressure of the environment itself enhance immersion.
· Medieval Dynasty depicts a slow-paced survival journey set in the medieval era. Building and developing your own settlement from scratch is rewarding, as is recruiting and managing villagers. While the systems are deep, a lack of early explanations can slow progress.

· Empyrion: Galactic Survival combines planetary survival with space exploration, but the overall experience is somewhat uneven. While it offers diverse content like interplanetary travel and ship building, a lack of polish and scattered systems can hinder immersion.
· Abiotic Factor takes place in a unique research facility setting. You can use rooms and corridors as your base and explore portal worlds, allowing for creative play. Once you understand the systems, you'll experience satisfying crafting and progression, though some combat balance issues exist.

· Enshrouded offers an adventure combining exploration, combat, and building in a world shrouded by dangerous fog. The world design is excellent, with high building freedom and a combat system that gradually improves. Despite inventory limitations and slightly clunky controls, the overall experience is superb.
· Grounded has a unique concept of playing as shrunken humans surviving in a backyard. Each area has distinct designs and dangers, and building bases and upgrading gear is rewarding. Combat against various enemies, exploiting their weaknesses, is also engaging.
· Soulmask features a system where you manage a tribe rather than a single character. Strategic play is possible through recruiting tribespeople, assigning tasks, and utilizing skills, with automation systems reducing repetitive work. However, the pace can slow down at times.

· Subnautica offers a unique survival experience set in the deep sea. Managing oxygen, resources, and the fear of the unknown while exploring the depths is thrilling. The distinctiveness of each biome, sound design, and the story revealed through exploration enhance immersion. The sense of accomplishment from building bases and upgrading vehicles to venture deeper is also outstanding.

· Dawn of Defiance is a survival and crafting game set in Greek mythology. The lack of a carry weight system and instant crafting are advantages, but building inconveniences due to terrain and some awkward combat mechanics exist. While co-op is possible, host dependency in progression is a drawback. It still feels quite unfinished.
