Smilegate announced on Wednesday (17th) that it has added the 'My Melody' and 'Gudetama' events from Sanrio Characters to its popular PC online racing game 'Tales Runner (developed by Raon Entertainment)', and officially updated the new character 'Chloe'. In addition, one new map of the Baunavi Island theme has been added.

With this update, the Sanrio Characters appearing in the Tales Runner fairy tale land are My Melody and Gudetama. Users can participate in in-game events through the corresponding NPCs in the park, and must deliver 'film pieces' so that My Melody, etc. can take pictures in the park to increase their affinity. One film piece can be randomly obtained when playing the map, and rewards such as the My Melody Farm Box, exchange tickets, and titles can be obtained according to each stage from affinity stage 1 to stage 9.

The collaboration with Sanrio Characters ends with the maintenance on the 16th of next month. If users have all three pose items such as 'Cinnamoroll Merry-Go-Round', 'Kuromi Viking', and 'My Melody Gyro Drop' during the remaining period, 'Picnic Together Pose' will be given as an additional reward, and various other items and collaboration titles can be obtained by participating in events.

The new character 'Chloe' has also been officially added through this update. Chloe, who can teleport, appeared on Baunavi Island with her best friend 'Shadow Dow' in search of traces of her missing parents. Chloe is a speed-specialized character with very high top speed and acceleration.

To commemorate the update of Chloe, Smilegate is holding an event where you can receive bonus experience and contribution point buffs when playing with Chloe. In addition, Chloe's introduction and motion video are released on the official event page, and a page where you can check various information such as behind-the-scenes stories and additional illustrations has also been opened.

A new map of Baunavi Island has also been additionally updated. Following the addition of 'Baunavi Flag Battle' on the 12th, 'Ola Ola Jumping Road' has been added with this update. This map is a 4 vs 4 team battle, and users start from the bottom of the tower and must defend the top floor while keeping the opponent in check with the hammer items they have. Then, the team that finally steps on the goal platform that opens at a specific time can win.

As the last new item, the Baunavi Island 2nd capsule machine, where you can obtain the Sepistia Crown and 7 new costumes 'The Giraffe I Drew', has been newly added, and live saving male, female, and double packages with a summer atmosphere that match Baunavi Island have been added to the store.
