Shift Up's collectible RPG 'Destiny Child' will end its service on September 21st.

Shift Up posted an announcement today (20th) on the official community regarding the termination of Destiny Child's service. After nearly 7 years of service since its release in October 2016, they have decided to terminate the service as they have determined that a sustainable game service is no longer possible. The payment service will be terminated after the scheduled maintenance on the 20th when the announcement was posted, and the game service will be terminated after 11:00 AM on September 21st.

Shift Up announced that they have prepared a final update and event to repay the interest and love that users have shown. The content scheduled for the 20th update, which was introduced in the previous announcement, will be added as is without any changes, and they will be holding a 'Free Package Store Purchase Event' and a 'Daily Gift Event' so that users can enjoy the game during the remaining period.

A 'Memorial Update' will be added on September 22nd, after the service ends. 'Destiny Child: Memorial' will be updated so that you can keep the memories of playing the game, and through this, you can leave the existing data you played even after the service ends and appreciate the Child, Story, and Hot Springs. To link to Memorial, you must link the Memorial app in the game's settings menu after the maintenance on August 17th and before the service ends. Additional information regarding the Memorial Update will be introduced through additional announcements in the future.

The notice also included information on refunds. The refund applies to all purchases made after 00:00 on July 1, 2023, and applications will be accepted from the server maintenance on July 20 to 11:00 on September 21, the game service termination date. Detailed refund information, including how to apply for a refund, will also be introduced in a separate announcement.

Meanwhile, in the developer's note on the official community, Shift Up CEO Kim Hyung-tae's 'Last Greetings' to Destiny Child users was revealed. CEO Kim Hyung-tae said that many people loved the game for a not-so-short period of about 2,458 days since its release, and thanks to that, he was able to come this far. He then prepared various events, including the Memorial Update, to repay the users even a little, and conveyed a message of gratitude that he would forever remember the overflowing love that users had given to Destiny Child. Unfortunately, the time has come to tell you that we have to end all journeys and finish. Not only me, but all the staff are very heavy-hearted about the fact that we have no choice but to deliver this news. I think the candidates who have been with us on the journey of Destiny Child will have a much heavier heart than us.

The service of Destiny Child will be terminated on September 21, 2023 at 11:00 AM.

However, it's not just the end. We have prepared the following plans, although insufficient, to repay the candidates who have given us so much love for the past 6 years.

The final event, Ragna Break, Ragna Burst, will proceed as planned. The July and August events that were revealed in the previous developer notes, , , will proceed as planned so that you can enjoy them as much as possible.

All package products in the game will be free and can be purchased with gold. If you log in to , you can enjoy all kinds of products for free, including packages for new Childs.

A daily gift event will be held. We will give you in-game currency as a gift through your mailbox so that every day you spend in Destiny Child during the remaining period will be a little more enjoyable.
